Hate: My sister, the super-bitchtard.
Me and my mother's relationship is primarily built upon argument. Friendly, mostly. We have absolutely nothing in common in belief or in action, so the respectful comparison of different beliefs is about the closest we can get to camraderie.
Unfortunately, my sister is an idiot. Unfortunately, my sister often jumps into arguments she doesn't really understand, and concocts ridiculous straw-men from what's being said, becoming more and more upset when I attempt to correct her. Inevitably, she becomes more and more belligerent and goes on loud and screechy rants about how she refuses to believe this thing-that-I-never-argued-in-the-first-place.
Around here, I usually say something like 'Are you being purposefully dense?' Which obviously doesn't help.
And, usually around here, she goes batshit insane, and my mother jumps back in and says 'You know, she's right, Chris.'
And I deny that she's right, usually saying 'No, she doesn't understand what I'm saying.'
And my sister gives the pinnacle of her crazy-ass, disconnected-from-reality rants.
And then I, thoroughly frustrated, use some profanity (in today's case, twice calling her a bitch), which ends with both of them extremely upset, usually with my sister slamming two or three doors in the house. She's broken plates in the past.
This is a recurring theme, and you'd think one of us would learn by now. I usually don't recognize what's happening until we're at the first 'batshit insane' phase, and by that point I'm usually too frustrated to just walk away.
Moral of the story: I need to get the fuck out of here and get my own place.
