Yeah, too bad I died. I would have claimed that Kaden was the ghost because it was the smartest move you could make. Which also made it predictable.

This was my concern. Ghosting Kaden was less about using his authority to play you guys off one another (though I had no idea Ashe was going to be so explicit in my use of the ability; that was something that seemed to be rather inconsistent. For example, revealing Rose upon using his ability, rather than simply saying 'Cho'gath feasted') and more about knocking out the investigator before too much damage was done. Hilariously, I learned shortly thereafter that the townies had two investigators.
