I did this today, I got little to no reaction. Just a simple 'come back and we will see what we can do about a independent study' which I honestly have no idea what it is. I think they're halfassing getting to me because of budget cuts and shit.
The class selection for the English Department looks like it belongs to an private high school, but I'm not too worried. I know my adviser mentioned something about seeing the head of the department and the dean to take alternative courses, something she said many advisers are telling their advises.
If I can't get into something to cover those two classes I'll be pissed. They just dropped me last week when I registered for theme back in late April or early May, I can't remember which.
