Can't they just do the drugs thing where you tap your arm? I'm sure no medical person has ever considered this and what I'm saying is completely unheard of.
Did a quick search btw, this might help: "For years I endured the same fate. Every phlebotomist I went to told me it was next to impossible to find a vein, any vein. I was stuck multiple times sometimes before they would find one. Each time I would get more frustrated, as would they. They would always tell me to make a fist as tight as I could, but even that would sometimes take several minutes before one would "pop" up. Finally, I started pumping my fist before I would even get to the lab-like on my way there and in the waiting room. Now, they are always able to find a vein on the first try."
