LeBlanc has early game mana issues. That said, what she brings to the table is damage and not much else. So sacrificing her damage for tanky gear late game doesn't help her much because they then just completely ignore you as a non-threat and then kill you anyway because you are still squishy.

EDIT: I would go GA instead of Aegis. That would give them reason to ignore you a bit and give you some extra escape time.

If I can pull off even some of that build I'll have near 500 AP. That's nuclear for her.
