As for the rest, getting your head removed from the desk is a serious issue that seems to be a reoccurring problem, and trust me, I know how that feels too.
I had this procedure done August of last year. I feel your pain. I was unable to sit for more than a month. I also had to go to the ER twice for hemorrhaging. Wasn't fun. I hope everything turns out alright man.
