Like: remembering what it's like to just enjoy things like Dr Pepper, like I used to, without adding liquor. Then being able to just get up in the morning, which I guess I could never do even before I started drinking, without feeling groggy for hours. It's almost like forcing myself to get up each morning for two years under those conditions, then taking it away, was like weighted clothing. That or I was just more seriously depressed than I thought when I was a teenager. Feels weird because I think the last time I was like this, I was a preteen.
Should be interesting to see what kind of effect it has on my health in general, too, since funnily enough I started eating a hell of a lot healthier around the same time I started drinking myself to sleep on a daily basis, 2-3 years ago. So this'll be the first time in my life I'm eating healthy but also not supplementing with a massive amount of calories from alcohol.
