Also what defines winning the lane? I get more CS? Kills? Towers? Gold?
Nasus got 5/0 kills on me with Weemus, 2 towers, and around 30 CS and had a rushed Philo(Supposed to right?). It was an over 3k in gold difference. (Note I pointed out that he grabbed Negatrons... But I also asked why he didn't grab HoG.) But Nasus CAN 'lose' a lane, but still farm, and still be a beast.
IN the same game I linked... or one of them, you told Jarka to just take the tower so you could pressure other lanes. They were struggling. Thus 'losing the lane'
I dont think it all matters about winning the lane... because as you guys taught me... If a late game champ doesnt 'win' and sucks for a few... But can survive...or even lose it...
He can still be a bad ass or something to be reckoned with later.
It's a generalization. If you've spent more gold than your opponent and you're at relative levels of skill, then you should beat them. If that were always the case, LoL would be a pretty boring game. It's just a way of thinking about your play and how you're doing in a game.
