These are pretty cool animoose, I suppose
Rose Wrote:My only problem with Brotherhood was that it was SO streamlined it actually removed a fair few of the manga scenes that were, whilst not ABSOLUTELY necessary to the plot, were good and gave some plot development that was otherwise just thrown in later (as with Envy's skirmish with Ling). I don't mind them streamlining the episodes which the first anime already covered, but after that they didn't slow up at all.

While I agree that can easily be over looked by the fact that the original was horrible. The post stunk, the antagonists were one dimensional and lame, and I couldn't get over how preachy it got towards the end. Scar was a bitch compared to his Brotherhood counterpart although his sacrifice at the end was pretty awesome-o.

Granted I saw Brotherhood first, then the original, but I found myself completely immersed in Brotherhood while I found myself not caring to finish the show once the main antagonist showed up. It felt like the slapped it together at the 11th hour.
