I'll post the short version. Doe probably figured it out way before I did, but after Dehan died (and lived) I rethought things and realized Birdo is a character that pretends to be a female when actually a male, aka mafia pretending to be town. Thing is, I also knew Teemer was the other mafia (for what its worth, yes, you and Dehan checked out as far as powers).
The goal was to vote Teemer out and I needed Kayne to try to then kill you, Doe, thus the emphasis that I would be protecting myself and not you, with me also saying I was going to be voting for you the following day. I wanted to not risk being killed in the night while protecting someone else (I have actually only protected myself once that I recall, and that happened to be the night no one died). I was going to be protecting you last night, which still happened, but didn't want the mafia to even consider that. Figured we'd just force lynch her today.
Ultimately, I don't think any of that plan changes because we still can just vote lynch Teemer and call it the end. They still didn't lynch me nor you (truthfully, I was worried about if they didn't lynch Dehan since his vote seemed unsure still) and we are still able to get both of them.
I was talking to Josh about it on Mumble last night (about me staying up because I needed to make my posts as close to 8 as possible but had to leave the computer before then) but it got thrown off because honestly I didn't consider that you could do your force lynch secretly. Did you send that in before or after my final posts? The goal was to affect what the mafia did with the hope you wouldn't use your power as a result that day (actually half worried you'd force lynch me just to be a dick).
Anyway, it still plays out the same and I'd say well played to you because I only figured it out about two days ago (whatever the night phase was after Dehan was lynched) and I'm pretty sure you had it settled a while before that.
