The idea was that all the trackers and watchers would only be able to see who visited who or who was visited by whom. If three people visited one person who also happened to die, nobody would be able to tell who killed said person. Or, something could happen like on Night 1, where Mal and King B both visited Blue, though Dehan only saw Mal enter. There was a lot of possibilities with a setup like this.

In retrospect, I would have probably given both mafia the ability to kill (but only one could kill a night), give one the decoy, and the other some kind of vision power. What I mean by that is that said mafia would be able to partially see who visited who during the night, allowing them to make better use of their decoy and kill powers.
