"I'm gonna go find a room at the sleeping quarters. Lets go, I want to talk to you." Burter said, and walked out of the bar. It seemed he was a little disturbed about something. Bra looked up at her mother, seeking permission to leave as well. Bulma simply nodded, and with that, the young warrior was gone, jogging to catch up with Burter, who'd made it halfway down a hallway.
"So, what's up, blue man?" Bra asked with a smile. She was very excited about this tournament, even though it bore an eerie resemblance to the Friend or Foe competition, aside from the fact that attendance was voluntary for this particular competition.
"I kinda just wanted to get away from everyone. Too many new faces. Too many potential enemies. I don't know..." Burter stated, honestly.
"Yeah, that's cool. Glad to see Kami's still cool with us. At least, it looks like it." Bra replied.
"True. That is good. Looks like we don't have anyone who's got anything to settle with us, that's a plus." Burter added.
"Yeah. That's good." the cyan-haired girl replied, still anxious about how Raditzu would react to them during the tournament, but decided he was basically a good person, and so tried to ignore the thought, "Are you sure we should be in this tournament thing?"
"What? Don't tell me you're afraid to fight." Burter said, jokingly.
"I'm not afraid, I'm just... nervous. There's a lot of people here." Bra replied.
"Yeah, well, sucks to be you." Burter stated, reverting back to his normal 'tough guy' attitude.
"What?! Dammit, you can be such an asshole!" Bra retorted, punching the blue-skinned warrior in the shoulder.
"Ow!! What the hell, kid!? Chill!" Burter shouted.
"Stop being a jerk then!!" Bra demanded.
"I'm not-Then you- ...whatever." Burter replied, "Here's a room. Go back to your mom. I'll see you later."
"Okay." Bra replied, turning to walk away as Burter closed the door behind him. The girl wandered back down the hallway, passing a few newcomers on the way, without bothering to say 'hello' or make eye contact. The less attention she brought on herself, the better, during something like this.
I wonder what's bugging Burter...
The cyan-haired warrior walked back into the bar, taking her seat next to her mother.
"Hey, mom." she said, "What's up?"
What's up? Bulma knew everytime Bra used that phrase to her, something was wrong. So, instead of replying, she just waited for her daughter to continue.
"I just hope we're not in over our heads this time..." Bra said, before trailing off.

"I wasted time and now time doth waste me."

"I just made you up to hurt myself, and it worked."
