?No thanks, I couldn?t eat another bite,? muttered Kiro in his sleep.
?What?re you talking about? Get up!? commanded the boy?s mother, grabbing his shoulders and shaking.
Kiro?s eyes flickered slowly open, and the teen sat up. His mother let out a sigh and left the room. Kiro let out a groan, as he realized that it was time for another day of school. Rolling over, the black haired teen fell out of his bed.
?Damn,? muttered Kiro.
Standing up, the exhausted youth trundled lazily towards the bathroom. With a slam of the door, and a turn of the bathtub?s hot knob, Kiro was in the shower. The teen?s eyes drooped as he lazily lathered shampoo into his hair. Slowly, Kiro reached for the soap. As his hand crept forward, his eyes crept shut. Kiro fell forward in his shower, hitting the bottom with a loud crash.

?What? What?re you talking about?? came a squeaky voice.
Kiro?s eyes snapped open. With a loud yell, the teen leapt backwards. In front of him, there was a small blob-like creature, with an odd looking flower coming out of the top of its head.
?Who?re you?? Kiro asked, his voice faltering slightly.
?I?m Yokomon! I?ll be your partner!? replied the creature. ?You see, I?m a digimon. I live here, in the digital world. I?ve been waiting for my human partner to come.?
?I?m your partner?? uttered Kiro, who was a little puzzled.
The creature nodded, and then nudged a device forth, towards Kiro. The jet haired teen scooped up the device, and looked down upon it.
?This is mine?? inquired the youth.
?It?s your digivice!? squeaked Yokomon excitedly.
Kiro slipped the digivice into his pocket, and stretched out his tired limbs.
?Oh, I found this for you while you were asleep,? uttered Yokomon.
Yokomon nodded over towards a backpack, which Kiro then scooped up. Slinging the pack over his shoulder, Kiro scooped up Yokomon and placed him in the backpack.
?I think I?m going to like this place,? grinned Kiro.
