The PS3 will require an additional cable (HMDI) and a tv that supports the resolution (1080p) for blu-ray.
Everyone loses money on the sale of their systems, they just don't really care since what they're trying to sell is the software. The margin on software is unbelievable compared to the hardware. It's like that for a lot of electronics.
I think that the Nintendo Revolution and the Playstation 3 will both be great gaming consoles but also think that it is foolish to compare them.
Plus, Wii is a fucking stupid name.
