If Character A and Character B are both twice as strong as Character C, and Character C uses Super Saiya-jin C-Rank (x10) he suddenly becomes five times as strong as the two opponents. The Berserk ability might hinder the transformer, but unless he's punching himself in the face there's not much chance of the other two winning.
And that's just a hypothetical situation. Obviously, the older (and stronger) characters would have better transformations, thus increasing the power gap to essential invincibility reguardless of race match-up. This will encourage the community to make a mad dash for stats early on, and transformations later. It's essentially the same problem the RPG has today.
And I see that some of the new races have different types of power-ladders to climb (one has robotics skills, for instance), but the warrior races (saiyan, clangling) are still very uniform. Let me change the example I had, and you'll see it's not too different from what you're doing:
Saiya-jin: fast physical growth with weak/dangerous transformations
Tsufuru-jin: fast mental growth with lots of abilities
Changling: slow overall growth with stronger/more transformations
Generic: balanced
What I'm saying is that stat growth can be really flexible and dynamic, and it would be a shame and detrimental to the RPG to leave it as it is. If you just adjust the rules a little bit to make each race more seperate from the others then members will be encouraged to choose a character for their roleplaying identity, which seems to be the direction you're trying to go in, and that this would really help out.
