Or, even more interesting, you could have it so that there are independent (read, 'neutral') groups that also specialize in the development of the Force-attuned. That way, it's not just polarized; there can be folks like Kreia from KOTOR II (though she might've actually been Sith, I don't remember) who aren't exactly Sith, but aren't exactly Jedi. Perhaps have the Jedi be not quite so centralized or powerful, so that those who are independent aren't necessarily fringe; in other words, every member is fringe in that they're Force-attuned, and those members can align themselves with any number of groups (or, make up their own master who would train them), who specialize in a number of different developments of the Force (similar to the Trees present in KOTOR, where any Force-wielder can learn anything, but the Sith have a much better job of everything awesome, and the Jedi have a much better job of shit-powers like Midi-Healing and Knight-Bravery-Useless).

1) The website won't succeed unless every character can be Force-attuned to some extent from the get-go.
