Switching to New Best Moves

Em..not to sound ignorant, but what is Venemous Ki? Also, I thought "kill" moves were allowed if they were only used as a finishing (or fatality) move.

We don't allow kill moves period. Any move can potentially be used as a finisher. Although, we did make it so players could determine decide the outcome of a fight so long as it was staff approved a while ago. I'm actually going to leave this one up to an admin to make the final call.

Venomous Ki: Like the poison that runs in the fangs of a snake, so does it flow in the ki of people with this technique. They are capable of infusing small amounts of a negative like ki that after infecting an opponent; causes that fighter to slowly lose stamina and energy for a sustained amount of time. Though the attack itself is never fatal, it can lead to death at the hands of the person responsible for the poisoning.

Therefore, any technique that directly attacks energy requires Venomous Ki. In your case, I got the wrong technique. You actually need Ki Absorption, not Venomous Ki. Still, you do need that prereq in order to make it an energy stealing move. The definition is below in Retane's section.

Electric Zap: Strings of ki stem it from Retane's fingers and wrap around a foe. As they do, The foe gets shocked and Retane drains their ki for himself in the process.

This move was one of the first pre-approved moves I had since I joined as Retane... by Burter... Attacking... draining... bpth the same thing...

But as Burter knows... I dont god mod my moves....is why quite a few of mine pushed the edge before...

EDit: Electric Zap was one of the moves I had preaproved.. but I dont want it. It's just a sample... I mean.. I had Demise an attack that only struck the soul, eating at it .... devouring it as it did. I had no issues then. I created Soul Reaper, And was gonna use it as a prequisite as a Trio..


Which brings me to . Bleh.. I'll wait till I am ok'ed first....

Ki Absorption: Just like the thief that pinches a purse, a fighter with this ability steals the energy from his enemy by funneling their Ki borne attacks into himself. A powerful technique such as this is also a double edged blade as you can easily go over you body's maximum capacity and explode. So be careful.

Those moves might have been acceptable before, but any technique that directly attacks energy or absorbs energy require Venomous Ki or Ki Absorption, techniques which are earned in staff sagas or trained for on KR. So Toxin and Soul Reaper will have to be replaced or rewritten. Final decision.

I have a question too. I'd like this answered by at least an SM, since it's weird. What if I asked for Body Split. Like, Ginyu's version. I'm planning a weaker variant, but I wanna know if the standard Body Split is allowed, since stuff like Time Stop and whatnot are being tried. If 'no', please tell me specifically why, so I can try to alter it to fit the rules.

Are you talking about Metamorphosis? Like when Ginyu switches bodies? If that's what you mean, I'll say "no" based on the grounds of Bebi's Liquefy. We ended up banning that move because it caused so many problems. People walking around in different bodies would be difficult.
