Switching to New Best Moves

For my 8th, I'd like:

Halo

As a form of defense, Violet throws up a arc of energy around her, which reduces the chance of her getting hit. This is a one time use only move that once someone has touched the energy, it dissolves, leaving room for a quick rebound on either party's part. This move causes minor damage to both the user and attacker from the explosion of energy after the bubble has been touched.


9th, Chi Bonds

The user creates a narrow strip of ki and cuffs it around small appendages to trap the victim long enough to escape. If the user is wearing metal, or other conductive material, this move cannot work. This form of entrapment can be broken by blocking off your own ki (As this move is responsive to it, sort of like oxygen and fire, if you cut the oxygen off, you kill the fire.) long enough for the bonds to dissolve. In addition, the victim can alternately just wait a few seconds and it will break on its own. This technique is more of a stalling move in order to escape an attack, or slow the victim down.
