Wow. I don't have much time to reply since I'm using my phone at work, but I will never on this site try to defend Mal by saying that itd be a leap in logic to connect Mal's thoughts with the most extreme end of things again.

Few accusations I'm interested in. EVO recruiter? What's that about, where is this site, and what bad history am I assuming we have with it? I'm taking a guess that (using the acronym from the fighting game tournament EVO) you mean something named "Evolution". Beyond that, you'll have to fill me in on the details.

Can't really look back at the other things that exploded from my badly worded paragraph hoping to rationalize what you were saying, so going off memory here. (I love how saying "no one has said something like that extreme, they'd have to be paranoid to do so given the unanimous vote" turns into me saying "you are paranoid". How's that work?)

Honestly, this doesn't need to be defended really, but you know I'm a sucker for stupid shit. So yes, mal, I'm super quick on the defensive because clearly sage, ander, sophia, trafford (who remained a blank vote, just to be honest for his sake), and myself all collaborated to keep me in the event. Because that's what helps them win. By cheating to keep me in. It has nothing to do with scheduling and I agree, if you were part of the four people that all requested that we skip to the finale now, you WOULD find a way to be pissed.

Reading it again, I think I might understand what he's trying to explain. "Yes, no one voted against it, but someone does have a problem with it and told me so off the boards and feels screwed. He just didn't contest it on the boards for some reason.". That's what I THINK is being inferred here.

I just want to stop being confused (thought between the PMs in getting and the posts where I have no idea what's going on, this is HILARIOUS to me.), so if this is the case, then say so. And if so, whoever has a problem should also say so. Because this likely wouldn't have happened if someone had a serious problem with it for whatever reason. We all voted and had our chance to say no.

However it works out, I just want to clear this up.

Edit: I'm not asking to put someone on the spot or make fun of them. I'm justing wanting to know before its too late. Just to be clear. I clearly think its dumb and unfounded but a valid complaint IF my guess in this post is true

I want to say one thing. I've been informed (and somewhat agreed with the interpretation) my poor wording did seem like a sneaky way of calling Mal paranoid.

That was not my intention. My intention was somewhat the opposite, actually, and didn't go to paper how it left my head. It was poor wording, and I don't know how to better explain it. So I apologize for that.

I'll leave my questions unanswered and withdraw from it.

If these shenanigans were in reference to me, then i must offer an explanation. I was indifferent to the vote. So i did not vote. I really could care less if we're in the finale or not. I never had any intention on winning, if i do, then i do, if i don't, then i could care less. I don't feel slighted or screwed in the least bit.

In retrospect, I would have voted to move into the finals immediately just to get this damned thing over with.

I am glad I'm in it, but that's not why I joined. I joined to do some writing and support Ander's saga. I've DONE that, and if it took me conceding right now to allow the proven better writers of the event (the three others, who clearly were above me and deserved it) have a more fair event, I would and will do it. Given that the consensus of those I've spoken with isn't that way, I don't wish to seem like I'm "drama queening" out of it, you know? I'm just really enjoying writing with some of the freshness currently up here and feel lucky for the opportunity.

My hope isn't necessarily that I WIN this event, but to somehow contribute and use my presence to improve some aspect of it through my own writing. That's been my goal all along, and I'm glad to shake some rust again.

As of right now, you three have approximately 18 hours before the deadline to get a post up. Three people competing for post order is not going to be very pretty the longer you wait. If you're pressed for time, something is better than nothing.

Just dropped the last piece of the CR role-play I'd been working on. Had to change it a little bit due to events, but, if you'd like, you can use it like you used the "happy cocktail," only the opposite. Or you can ignore it. I don't really care.
