All of my co-workers that I was playing with are now around level 50 and nearly done with Nightmare mode. I am still level 19 and halfway through Act II. Normal.

Go me. Solo is fun I guess?

I imagine by the time I get this game, everyone I could play with will be level 80 in Hell mode (or whatever the highest difficulty setting is). It's going to be good times!!

I hit a bit of a brick wall. I'll probably push through the latter half of the game this week. I'm eager to start achievement-hunting and playing alts. I don't really have any 'friends' to play with aside from Laura. I tried to play a public game but it was pretty lame. One guy was Chinese and another one was just rushing through the quest and then leaving again, presumably to repeat the quest over and over.

I'm a "leave no stone unturned" kind of player, making it difficult to party with me >_>

Oh boy. Inferno so hard you either skip champion/elite packs and only do bosses or you remake the game. Not looking forward to that, since hell if you're unlucky with modifiers you're fucking boned anyway and legendaries/set items sucks dick with the lowest drop chances in the game.

Also EU servers are down for no raisins.

Also, like: My super zombie with the badass-when-encountering-elites-or-surrounded rune.

Dislike: Dogs suck after normal. Like, they do fine for fighting regular mobs, kewl, but my god do they die fast against anything stronger.

Currently running around with an aoe fear, aoe charm, aoe slow, super zombie, darts and bats. I miss the dogs though.

I wish you had another passive. Dogs would be cool if you could always have that "chance to spawn a dog" passive equipped, but you can't. And having an entire spell that does, literally, nothing without zombie dogs is... unfortunate.

Luckily, 80% AoE slow makes up for a lot of that.

Finally finished Normal solo on my Barb, now I'll start grouping with friends again. I figure I'll level fast due to them already being 60 at Inferno, but I didn't want anyone to spoil Normal mode and the story for me as far as that playthrough went.

Also, Josh joined my game while I was halfway through fighting Diablo. "Diablo has grown stronger!" appeared and I'm like "OH FML." Thankfully, he jumped back out until just after I killed him and didn't stick around and make him stay higher difficulty nor run in and steal my kill either. So it was all good.

Yeah, wish they made that a bit more obvious to find. I only know about it because someone else mentioned it on Vent. That and the advanced tooltips. Kinda important to know that instead of "absorbs all damage" is actually "absorbs all damage up to 400" and my WD's dogs "take damage instead of the Witch Doctor" is actually only 10%

I'm never a fan of "Simple Tooltips" in general in any of their games. I've rarely seen a time where it helps get the general point across better. That may largely be due to the wording that they choose and not the concept itself, but I'm still waiting for a time when it brings clarity.

yeah...got totally pwned by twinkleroots because I didn't know the diamond skin had a limit. One reached rather quickly when in content that far above my lvl 12

Got to Act 4 today and getting stupid levels of lag all of a sudden. I thought they sorted this shit out.

That's unfortunate. Personally, act 4 on was when I started really having fun my first playthrough. Not so much derping around into little packs everywhere, just a nonstop barrage of "Not the centipede arm guys, nooooo!"
