Victoria Wrote:I always liked the Sig/Vic spinoff we had. That whole Earth Invasion story was pretty great.
Agreed. I still think it's the best writing I've ever done. There are some areas that are weak on my part, but that's kind of the nature of writing so constantly.

I miss Vad and Piper's shenanigans on Namek.

Actually, now that I think about it, if I did write Ander's story into a book, I could make Kaden into a complete butt-monkey...

I've got a 'completed' novel manuscript I've been working on for a few years now, but my progress on finishing it to a point where I am happy enough to throw it at publishers has been somewhat erratic. I did have talks with a publisher a number of years back, but I was just starting Uni and wanted to focus on my degree more than making some sort of publishing deal and having to focus all my time on the novel for a potential publishment.
Also got some partial manuscripts for a sequel and a prequel (though, technically part of the same series in that order), but again progress on them has been erratic.

This lil' thing is thanks to Jarka!

Through high school I made grand plans for a fantasy series that I had a lot of character backstory for, but never wrote more than 40 pages for. It feels like such a shame to just let it go, so I'll try to pick it up every now and then, but the world and the story seem so juvenile and unstable now.
There are a couple other projects I am working on (a pokemon spinoff and a dystopian fiction), but after writing all day at work, it's hard to motivate myself to write more. >_>

Pokemon fiction is the best fiction.
The best.

Yuh. Writing a short story serial or whatever you want to call it, and have had the idea for a series of books, the overarching plots, and everything that goes along with it in my head for over 10 years.
I just always think that I can't put it to paper as good as it is in my mind, or that it's somehow not substantial enough. I'm not really sure how to explain it.
I think Ander's right, in that a lot of us had our competitive spirit fired by competition/collaboration, and it is something I'd be interested in pursuing at some point.
University gobbles up so much of my time, though D:
