Yeah, there are Cohibas that are grown/rolled in the DR and then the ones grown/rolled in Cuba and sold in the DR. There are fake Cubans too but you usually see those in Florida and the tourist trap type locations in the Dominican.
There's no law against sending them and really it's only US citizen that are not supposed to consume Cuban goods.
No biggie though, just wanted 2 Coronas to smoke with my Dad. Seriously don't get yourself in trouble or go too crazy on it.
