As long as there's enough time for the beam to build a resistance to it.

LIFELINE
Quote:The user, in order to save another, sacrifices his own spirit as a lifeline- which revives a dying target, but also transfers his spirit into the vessel. The recipient transforms into a new individual, taking on some of the characteristics of the lost soul, but the drawback is that the spirit-transfer can rarely be undone. Effectively, it is a permanent end to a character; but none of the techniques/abilities carry over, nor is there any statistical increase to the target. The changes are physical/mental, but light when compared to those of a fusion. The new character retains some of the memories of the sacrificed. 'Lifeline' is not a fusion, in nature or in execution, but something different. Don't plan on purchasing this any time soon, but I would like to see how much something like this would cost.

That's just a character switch. You could just RP it as "transferring spirit" from one character to another without that Custom.

Price check, please?
Blindsight - Piper can crudely see short distances in complete darkness through means of her brain's uncanny ability to detect and accurately process thermal signals. Obviously, this doesn't help against beings who don't give off heat or can naturally mask their existence through technological or superhuman means (like androids or those with Dark Ki or a cloaking device). Acrobatics - Piper's constantly improving level of fitness and agility (coupled with her ability to jump higher and survive long falls - super jumping) has reached the point where she can perform several feats that temporarily ignore gravity. Examples include running across water, running up the side of a building, and being able to easily cross a high-wire. Thank you, comrades. Quote:Vad's Whimsical Whimsicalisms: Men. Blindsight: So this basically gives Piper thermal vision? What kind of range were you think when you said "short distances"?

The distance I was thinking of was around 10 feet. Quote:Vad's Whimsical Whimsicalisms: Men. Orion: that was the "discount" price. It's a pretty potent Custom. Someone, say, going Oosaru doesn't even make much of a difference, the beam could still push them back. Being able to, basically, reflect any attack (yes, I understand there's a "time" element to it) is quite the feat as well.

Static - Daneos consciously conducts a small current under his skin, allowing it to encompass his entire body from within. Then at will expels it outwards at a more potent level, emitting a electrical field that covers a radius of 20 feet. This acts as a temporary deterrent for opponents disorienting them a bit while the concussive force built up knocks them back.
Abilities Used: Elemental Ki (Electricity); Ki Control (essentially the actual force that knocks them back) (Think Blanka)Shock - Daneos crouches down and emits an electrical current from his body that shocks his opponent on contact should they touch him while the current is still actively surging through him. Abilities Used: Elemental Ki (Electricity) Price check, please.
Surge
Wizard can temporarily animate a wounded part of his body; hitting it with a ki charge that acts much like adrenaline. It does not heal the target area and the extended use is likely to do more damage; it just gives it a short boost. An example would be if Oliver fractured his knee. He could give it a brief charge, with 'Surge', to regain full use of the joint; but using it might leave it shattered... [Ki Specialization & Survival]

xD
That's cuz we're cool. Umm, I was wondering. If I changed Static to a 10 foot radius, would that make a differnece in the pricing? Because I'm thinking about it and 20 feet is a little too much. In my head at least, for what its gunna be used for.

Wouldn't make a huge difference. Maybe drop to 22 or 23 XP.

How much would a general Kienzan Disc attack cost? I've got Ki Control. The idea is they're extremely sharp discs that can rip through inanimate objects/creatures/people exceptionally weaker than Juno (ie, one-twentieth of his power). With normal Chubbs people, it just knocks them back, scratches them up. If they're powerful, it usually does little to them but maybe cause a distraction.

Probably around 15.

Oh, and does having telepathy now make the cost of Shutdown any less?
EDIT Shutdown: Using his Possession technique, Juno can invade the minds of weaker enemies and effectively slow down all brain function temporarily, rendering them unable to think clearly for a period of time and to a level that corresponds to their power level. For especially weak enemies, this can cause them to fall unconscious. For enemies on a more level playing field with Juno, this can cause them to be fatigued for a short period of time. If tried on a person stronger than Juno, it would most likely recoil and injure Juno, leaving him uncapable to access his abilities for a short period of time. This ability requires Juno to make direct contact with a person's forehead, and therefore leaves him open to attack while attempting to make such contact. |
