Pulse - Ki flows through almost everything and Kaden can make use of that flow to sense his surroundings. Kaden releases a pulse of energy that flows outward through his surroundings. By combining his sense of ki along with his Sight, Kaden can create a mental image of his surroundings. This can be used similarly to echo-location. The range of this technique, when activated immediatly is roughly fifteen feet. The maximum range Kaden has achieved is roughly the diameter of a city block, though at that range discerning anything with detail is a difficult task and it takes several seconds of storing energy.

Energy Necktie - Alex removes his standard silk necktie and augments it with energy - causing the necktie to extend slightly in length, becoming similar to an energy whip or chain. Practically useless and quite stupid to use as an attacking weapon in melee combat, rather it is best used as a limiting or disabling tool. Trafford with use to necktie to grab a body part, probably a limb, and restrain the user's use of that limb (because of the necktie, not a lasting effect). This opens up areas of the body for melee strikes. An example would be if Alex lashes out with his supercharged necktie and latches on to an enemy's left wrist. Holding the necktie taut he restrains the movement of that arm and thus opens up the left side of his foe for a hard punch to the ribs. While performing this technique, the hand that Trafford uses to hold the necktie becomes almost useless - because, while blocking and striking is still possible, the hand is busy holding the garment and will not be as effective.

Monitor: (Possession/Telepathy) Juno enters the mind of another person and sees through their eyes, but he does not fully possess them. This is a means of scoping out an area without fully revealing himself or utilizing the energy needed to completely take over a person's mind.

Keyboard: (Possession) Juno uses his ki to pull up a "keyboard" made of energy in front of him. He proceeds to type in a command into that keyboard, and then shoots off the ki, which coalesces to form a small, blue orb. When the orb hits the target, they are programmed with that command and act it out. Juno is vulnerable during the typing of the commands.

Galick Gun: (Ki Control) A traditional attack similar in form to the Kamehameha, Juno joins his wrists together, curls his fingers, and creates a field of violet energy within the sphere his fingers create; then, he fires it off in a long, continuous beam of energy.

I would like a price check/ approval check on a technique I would purchase after acquiring Ki Absorbtion, Telepathy, Telekinesis, and a custom for Telepathy.

Evaporator:

By focusing his energy reserves saved for last ditch boosts of strength, Vad can effectively drain energy from opponents. Using Mental Analyze and Telekinesis to hone in on clothing/the mind of your opponent Vad can effectively target his opponents energy, essentially evaporating it. Vad does not receive the drained Energy.

Key Factors:
Vad or opponent must have made phyiscal contact allowing him to target the person's mind. (Going to make a custom Tech for Telepathy called "Mental Analyze")

Vad must keep within 10 feet of the victim to adequately make use of the technique.

Technique renders all abilities linked to it useless for the remaining fight.

Through Physical contact Vad may target a person's mind for quick telepathy during combat.

They have to be in view, but yes, the point is to do it without being detected; hence why he's not fully possessing them, merely seeing through their eyes. Obviously, if the subject has Ki Sense or Telepathy, they could detect his intrusion.

Is the possession intended to be absolute, or is it something that people struggle against?

It follows the same guidelines as the Possession ability states: If they are stronger, this can happen for several minutes. Equal strength is a minute maximum, and if they are weaker, then only for a few seconds. And I suppose if they were of equal power or more, they could struggle.

Metalergy:

Vad has the ability to shape and morph any acquired metal into any shape he needs, be it a sword, spear, shield, or just a counter attack in combat. He has developed a useful skill to convert his energy reserves into metal. It can either exit through his hands or seeped from his pores. This removes the need for reagent metal to be acquired in order to use Metal Binding.

Having spent years as a martial artist, Vad has learned to use all of his senses to their fullest. The sound of a footstep, the smell of sweat and blood, and even the smallest twitch of muscles allow Vad to keep track of those he's in close combat with. He can detect movements of people within 8 feet of him thanks to his martial skills and training.

[Piper Juunanagou]

Tried to think up some applications for Mediumship. Wanted to see if they were fly and if so, what prices they'd carry. Thank you!

Empathy – An extension of Piper’s Mediumship ability. This allows Piper to feel the emotion of other’s around her. This ability is not active all the time and requires minor concentration to utilize. Furthermore, Piper can easily become overwhelmed if she tries to tap into too many people or people with overwhelming emotions (whether those emotions are positive or negative). As such, it is impractical in combat and has no direct benefit. Due to her empathic ability, Piper can pick up when people are deliberately trying to deceive her.

Clairvoyance – A forward progression (quite literally) of Piper’s Mediumship ability. This works in the same manner as Mediumship, but it allows Piper to catch glimpses of potential futures for objects and persons. What Piper perceives is only potential pathways and not anything that would be set in stone. As (with mediumship) this power activates semi-spontaneously, it offers no advantage in combat (like the foresight ability) and is merely to act as a complement to Mediumship.

Arctic Wrath: (Ki Control - Ice) - An absurdly large explosion of cryokinetic energy, bursting outward from Sage in all directions, creating violent, freezing winds. Huge, jagged, spear-like formations creep out from beneath Sage, following the winds as they cover everything beneath them, transforming any area into a glacier. The temperature plummets deep below freezing, snow whips across the landscape, the temperature shock shattering windows, the glaciers rending crops and roads. The frigid wastes extend up to a square kilometer around Sage, and the ice can last for several hours before melting away, the cold leaving with it. While the initial, bracing cold and rapid ice flows can certainly cause great difficulty for an unlucky victim, the real purpose of Arctic Wrath is to transform the battlefield into one more suited to Sage, who welcomes the cold, and is at home atop the slick ice.

Phantom Limb (or a possibly better name later) - Using his specialised ki control, Orion creates a 'phantom limb' forged from his own energy. Usually formed as an arm, it is several times the size of Orion's normal arm, and its actions are guided by the real thing. It hovers just inches away from Orion's real limb, but does not touch his body in any way. This helps Orion handle things that are far bigger than himself with greater ease (eg. catching a large meteorite), and also allows handling of toxic and/or dangerous items that would normally damage his hands. It's also great as a far reaching ki/melee strike.

I'm not sure which of these are necessarily Technique worthy, as none of them are intended for combat or interaction with other non-NPC characters (except barring Exorcism perhaps). However, I figure it's presumptuous to just GIVE my character these abilities...

Spirit Sight:
Gozen can see and hear the spirits of those who are dead, but not quite in the realm of the spirit world. This might apply to a spirit who has returned from the spirit world without a corporeal body, or those that have simply not moved on. This technique does not allow Gozen to interact with the spirits or speak to them if he would be otherwise unable to.

Exorcise:
Gozen’s kanabo is designed specifically to exorcize spirits and foreign consciousnesses from objects and people. When struck with the kanabo, any possessing spirits or minds are knocked as harshly with Gozen’s ki as the body was struck with the kanabo, many times dislodging them or at the very least getting their attention. It has the unfortunate side effect of many times hurting the one being possessed as much as the spirit itself…

Banish:
Sometimes kicking a spirit out of a body just isn’t enough. With especially malign or evil spirits, Gozen will go into a personal spiritual duel with the incorporeal spirit. In this spiritual duel, Gozen wages battle against the ghost, and if victorious, he effectively sends the spirit to the appropriate afterlife. He may not send a spirit to and inappropriate afterlife. For example, he may not send a nun’s spirit to Hell.
During this spirit battle, his physical body susceptible, because he is completely unaware of it other than a fleeting tinge when physical contact is made with his body. If he is moved or injured while in this state, it immediately tears him back to his body and he is stunned for a short period of time. He may not engage in the banishing if the spirit still inhabits a person or object.
This ability does not take the place of telepathy, and he cannot use the power for any other purpose than banishing evil spirits which are between the living world and the dead.

I was thinking that Exorcise could be used on Customs or things that directly use the Possession ability. If the person doesn't fully inhabit the person in question (such as telepathy etc), then exorcise doesn't work.

The user creates a ki-based tracter beam that draws in an opponent. It takes a great amount of resistance to escape the beam, which is just large enough to engulf a human adult. Particularly useful in conjunction with Ki Fist Kai ("Shell Bullet").
