I'm stuck in a rut of getting butt raped by Gozen, loosing 20+ troops every time and 100+ gold. Then I go to attach someone and come out with a paltry 40g Makes me wonder.

A two week time table seems really short...I don't think that would work out too well.

Get rid of the richest villages list, it imbalances the game. If you want to find out how much money other players have then you should have to use spies. I just spent some turns making gold to buy armor, and in between gold harvesting and buying armor Jax attacked me because he was probably refreshing the richest list and saw me go up. It really, really sucks the fun out of the game.

I intend to remove the rich list for the next game. I agree that it's gamebreaking.

As for the cycles, definitely 5 minutes. There was some downtime on the server that caused turns not to tick for a period so that could be why you didn't have a full 50 turns.

I don't understand the combat. Sometimes it says I attacked with 8k offense, 25 minutes later I attack the same exact guy and have half that, but bought a shitload of weapons in between. Don't get it...

A significant portion of your attack "roll" is randomized. You can attack with anywhere from 60~140% of your "offense rating."
