Just my opinion.
Exactly what I hoped to do. Sadly, the console basically says "What percentage do you want troop gain to be at?" which we had to set as 1% as the lowest since it won't allow for anything outside of whole positive integers.

So I assume there's no way to just turn off the PM notification? Even globally?

When I actually cared about the round, I liked getting PMs.

I don't even know if what you're asking will be possible. Well, I talked to Josh about it again and now he has me convinced that there is no glitch. Guess I'll just follow his lead and assume everything is a-okay. :B
But what about troop gains being flat numbers? Is that possible?
As for the next game, we'll see if we can finish the fine-tuning tonight.

Given the choice of receiving them once you've reached a state where you are annoyed by it (but possibly still tinkering with the game itself to test things), which would you prefer?

So are we pretty much at the point where we all just want to start over?

Starting over is pretty much pointless unless you fix what was wrong to begin with.

Well, it will reset on the 15th, but yeah, if we aren't able to get some features implemented, I'm likely to not join the game, as the default features are really unbalanced.

What is required to change the features? Should we make a list of the stuff needing to be changed? I propose that option so whoever does the modifications has a checklist of what we want. Saves time and is just all around easier to implement.

The console won't let you. Any additional features require Waff to code them. Unless its a very quick addition, I highly don't see it taking priority over anything that might be added to the site itself.

Code or not. Make a check list. I'm not new to editing variables and values or coding to that matter. Even if we won't use it. We should make one anyway.
EDIT: I reread this. Came off nasty. Not intended to be Ashe.

I'd rather receive them. I would be more frustrated to check the game to see that I'm missing half my troops and all my gold than I would be to delete a PM or two.

I can see that.
Then otherwise, anyone entering the game can either deal with the PM popups or send a PM to Waff and have him remove you from the game when he has time, I would think.

Okay, I talked to Josh and he said he wanted to wait a while, so you'll have to run another conquest before we release our devilspawn onto the forum.
I'm going to have to ask again: is it certain that we can have static troop gains per recruitment rather than percentage gains? I remember that you said it should be simple, but I never got a follow-up on that. This is rather important for balancing, and I (along with most other players?) would like it if you'd run the next game with static gains so we can see how it works in practice.

I haven't done it yet so I can't tell you for sure.
I intend to set static troop gains for the next round.
