Doesn't he remind you of?

I was playing Mass Effect the other day and I really love Wrex. If you don't know him, go wiki him, but he's awesome. Then it occurred to me the other day that Wrex is, in a lot of ways, like Orion. He's gruff, straight to the point, a mercenary, etc. And I didn't base Orion on Wrex, it just turned out they had a few similarities.

Have you noticed anything like that with your own character, or with other people's characters? Or did you even base your character off another you know and love (or hate)?

To me, Sophia is like a less annoying version of Collette from Tales of Symphonia. It makes me cringe even after adding the "less annoying" part, but that's how she's turning out.

EDIT: Jack's character reminds me of how much Led Zeppelin sucks.

If any of you have ever read Son of a Witch, Juno reminds me tremendously of Liir. His latest story is shaping up in that way, too, and I started it before I'd finished the book.

Ok, this is weird. Last night I was playing Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 and actually said out loud "woah... I didn't realize how much Kaden was like [Loran Cehack]."

I definitely see both the Wrex/Orion and Sophia/Collette similarities, though. Never read Son of a Witch.

It's the second book in the Wicked Years series. All three are really good reads so far. I've read both Wicked and Son of a Witch, and I'm in the middle of A Lion Among Men.

To keep on topic, I do agree with Wrex and Collette comparisons, though I've never played DWG2.

Loran is actually from an anime series called Turn A Gundam.

Cain's like Naruto in an abstract way. Just a matured version, who went crazy after like seventeen. Assuming Naruto is like fifteen, as I've only seen a Naruto movie and read the first few episodes over a year of Shonen Jump a long time ago.

You are a bit like Loran, Kaden. Except you don't look like a girl and you're not a bitch. Orion/Wrex I definitely see. Never played that Tales game.

I don't know who any of the people any of you mentioned are, so I can't be like "oh that makes sense" or whatever. <.<

I think of Jonathan as an amalgam of Nietzsche's Zarathustra and Tyler Durden.

I'd say Zena's a mixture of Byakuya Kuchiki and Toshiro Hitsugaya from Bleach.

Vad is from another storyline I invented; Jericho was the characters name.

As for actual games or written books; I have no idea.

Looking through my collection of stuff, Belle seems like a really over-the-top version of Sakuragi Hanamichi, from Slam Dunk. Of course, Belle doesn't like the pussy like Sakuragi does.

I haven't the slightest idea who Piper may be similar with, although parts of her characters (mind powers and physical prowess) were partially stylized after Captain America and Sarah Kerrigan. Other than that, I'm afraid I got nothing.

Cain is actually much like Caine from Kung Fu. I had no previous knowledge (in memory) of the character when I create this one. I was thinking about Cain and Able (Abel?) when I created this Cain, but as it turns out Caine is far more similar.
