Custom Technique Approval

Probably changing characters soon, the second I can get my hands on my friend, but I got two 'core' techniques that'd make the character a lot more dull if they were deemed too powerful, so I'm just testing the ground here:

Consume: Alex uses his powers to consumes the target, including all of its' genetics, in order to restore his strength and use the genetics to form a flawless disguise for later use. In addition, he gains all memory of the consumed one.

On this one, I suggest some sort of PP usage towards player characters, on NPCs none.

Disguise Form: Alex uses the genetic code gained by a target that he consumed to change his own genetic code into an exact clone of the target. His techniques and abilities remain and thus he gains none if he consumes a target with techniques or abilities.

Pretty sure they both need abilities/techniques to do those, Cerion. The second most definitely would need shapeshifting, the first, I really, really don't think can be used at all, and if it can, with mediumship and some other ability. I'm going to leave this for an admin to make the call on.

I forgot to add requirements. The character would have elasticity and mediumship, due to Whipfist definitely needing elasticity - however there is no shapeshifting ability, only a shapechange technique?

That would require Mediumship and Regeneration and would not be usable against PCs.

Like Kaz said, that would require the Shapeshifting Technique. It would also be subject to Shapeshifting's limitations unless you wanted to get rid of those for a substantial XP cost.

I have no idea what AD is. Regardless, I have just woken up after a good day's sleep and after reading through the post, I forgot a very important point - the Consume thing doesn't work on strong beings, e.g. the only time I'd ever use it on a strong creature (PC) would be in a weakened state, I'd imagine after a battle to the death. It'd function as the finishing move with the extra bonusses.

Consume still couldn't be used on PCs. You can't have a move that straight-up kills someone because they're "weakened." If you and someone else agreed to have that be the way they die, that's the only way it could be used against another player. I'm assuming that's what you meant by "a battle to the death." Even then, it wouldn't be something you could just decide to do to another player.

I thought that was a 'naturally', I mean if the PC had any clue that Alex could do that, they could just finish off themself to prevent it of course. Especially if they had knowledge of Dragon Balls. I figured something this important couldn't just be used as it was nothing, I figured it'd only be something to be used towards targets with something valuable (maybe Dragon Balls) to know if the target had anymore.

Not like I'd be able to fight anyone who has Dragon Balls on an equal level for a long time, but still.

I'm going to throw in an opinion here. For Consume, I think you should probably scale it down and remove the killing thing, make it more like Drain Life or something, instead of automatic avada-kedavra thing. Then, perhaps, I can see you using it on PCs weaker than you. But that's just my opinion.

EDIT: Also, I think that you should have Venom Ki for Consume, hands down.

As it's written, Consume wouldn't need Venomous Ki. Maybe Ki Absorption, but I'm on the fence about that one.

Also, Cerion, any use of Consume against another PC would require consent from that person. That's not negotiable.

I thought I made that clear in my last post, but I guess my confusing writing kicked in. The Consume thing would of course not be considered a normal ability due to the fact it is really powerful and would require consent from the target player, especially because it is very avoidable since it'd only be in a 'fight to the death' that I'd use it, the defeated player might as well just blow himself/herself up to avoid it. I have no intent of negotiating any of this.

Also it seems to fully get Alex Mercer I'ma have to gather the balls 2-3 times for all the abilities I'll need, lol.

Pretty much, yeah. He's pretty badass.

I actually had plans for a character that had similar abilities to Alex (back before the turn over). It involved at least one wish and a whole shit-ton of XP.

Consume would probably be in the 50 range. Disguise Form is more like 10.

Awesomely doable. Now, if we could just nail down what abilities I'd need, I could actually make this wunderbar character.

Like I said, Consume would take Mediumship and Regeneration. Aside from those Abilities, it might take the Ki Absorption Technique. Disguise Form would only take the Shapeshifting Technique, but, like I said before, it would still be subject to Shapeshifting's limitations (a strong hit and you're knocked out of it, for example) as it's worded now.

Well I was considering scrapping Shapechanging (as is the real name of the technique) and just make Shapeshifting with all of it's real perks, as I'd need it for all of Alex's forms anyway and one hit to get knocked out of them would really, really suck.

Hibiki Missile

A special combo moving combining the abilities of both Kaden and Belle Hibiki, this attack causes extreme damage to anyone that it hits. Even the toughest of opponents can be cut down by this blow.

Forming a plane of ki energy in the air, Kaden is able to charge it with latent kinetic force. Hitting this plane and launching himself off it, Belle's jumping power is magnified several fold, increasing the speed of his punch to an un-Godly degree.
