None of the workarounds work. And even if you get into the game the account server appears to be down.

They're working on it but everyone trying to connect all the time probably isn't helping anything. Will post an update if I hear that it's working again.

The patcher is still stopping and needing to be reopened constantly, but for most people it's downloading a hell of a lot faster, so it might have been fixed.

There was just an announcement in-game about it. The login server is down for maintenance, but people who were already logged in can still play.

Didn't say how long it would be down.

Yeah, they had 40,000 concurrent connections. That's DDoS level of activity. They probably had to prove to their service provided that they actually needed more servers hence the stress testing.

However, there will probably not be 40k people trying to connect at the same time again.

I know how this goes, I'm just especially miffed that they forced you to subscribe to Fileplanet to get the game in the first place. This could pretty much not work on my computer at all, and I've payed 7 dollars for that.

So... somehow, logging out last night broke my client. I have to download the new one from Fileplanet, which is taking a couple hours. A little sad, but oh well.

You don't have to subscribe to Fileplanet to get it. The download is free. o_O

I'm not getting any error messages at all, it just gets here and stops. I'm assuming the "server is down", which obviously isnt the case, because thats what it says in the upper right hand corner.

Is anybody else getting this or what
