Can DNK and Challenge lists be changed mid-game?

EDIT: Specifically, I'm wondering if someone could put 2 people on their DNK lists and then fill in the third spot later on.

I will not reveal these lists to anyone during the course of the game, which is why they’re submitted over PM. Players may publicly reveal their own lists if they choose, but for strategic purposes, it may be best not to do so. Once these lists are made, you cannot change them, so choose wisely.

DNK Lists only have two names.

For Challenge Lists, they must be made before the game and cannot change. However, I would not have a problem with being able to submit a DNK List during the game, or leaving one name blank and wait to fill it in. Once a name is on your list, though, it can't be changed.

Fluid Time...

You said we couldn't post while writing something else... I was wondering if that was Once it started, Or did it include sign-ups?

I mean, myself and Tamsin are in a Job together and both want to join DA. I figured I can work on my join post, and such while waiting on Tamsin's post for the Quest. But can I post it in the sign-ups while I'm in a job with Tamsin? And perhaps meet some others before start of it?


Or do we just work on both things at the same time together and have to wait until the job is over and clutter the threads last minute?

How is elimination/"death" handled IC? Are we teleported and instantly healed when we "die", or are we replaced by a clone?

Death will look and feel like an actual death, but you will not be replaced by a clone. Other than that, I want to wait until the game itself.

Yes, I decide Combat Days, but I won't reveal a Combat Day until the day itself. So, I guess you could say they are random, at least to everyone but me. I'm not sure what you mean by "leniency of rules." Which rules specifically did you have in mind? Are you talking, like, "Oh, he posted one minute after midnight getting to a bunker, so he's eliminated, even though it's just one minute"?

Lifting a truck is an acceptable level, sure.

Yes, I did answer your question about fluid timing (here). You even responded acknowledging that I did (here).

I am assuming what you're afraid of is that someone will be playing well, and then slip up, and because they're doing so well I'll just give them a pass and say, "it's okay, it doesn't affect you." If that is what you're asking, then no, I won't be granting exceptions like that. The rules will be enforced, and they are the same for everybody.

Have you already started the job?

If not, then no. You can't start a new job while also being on Dante. If you're already in the middle of it, then you'll be granted permission to fluid time.

For the fluid time question, your reply of "Gotcha" indicated to me that my answer was satisfactory, therefore I had no reason to believe otherwise. In the future, if I don't give you the "answer you need," you have to actually say that the first time, or else I have no way of knowing. Sage pretty much hit the nail on the head. You already started the job, so you have one of two options:

1.) You stop role-playing in the job and start role-playing in Dante's Abyss, because you cannot role-play in two places at once. Fluid timing will allow you to finish the job after Dante's Abyss, but have the job chronologically take place before DA.

2.) You finish the job before Sunday the 8th.

Either way, I strongly recommend you get at least one role-play for DA in by Sunday.

Absolutely. Nobody's going to stop you from harming yourself.

You'll be auto-healed. Depending on the type of injury, I may be able to accommodate it, but you'll have to talk to me about it after the game starts.

Is your intent to throw up the first round threads after midnight on Saturday, or will we be seeing those during the day on Sunday?

I will likely throw the first rounds up after midnight tonight, yes. The idea is to give people the maximum amount of time possible to do what they need to do to prepare for the first Combat Day. How long after midnight, I don't know specifically, because I have some Control Room RPs to do.

If not, then the rounds will be up Sunday evening.
