Twice.

Ashe knew from the games that she had played with her friends that in any swiss event, two losses, even if you were allowed to continue, was enough to nix you from making the final cuts. To be honest, her entire assumption that this was merely a game was a matter of just that - assumption - but some part of her refused to believe that this was intended to be as much of a life or death situation as others might have have believed. She didn't believe that Sage would have entered this event with the honest intentions of slaughtering all of her closest friends, regardless of the goal that she had in mind. Wouldn't Sage have warned them away somehow if that had been the case?

She believed so, but feared that she was wrong.

When she got home, there would be a lot to talk about to her family. How many days had she been here, she supposed. There was no way that her family wasn't once again worried about her. She'd come down to the teleporter on a Saturday, true, but... It was honestly hard to tell just how many days had or had not passed. Time was fairly screwed up in a place where every sector seemed to run on its own calendar. Had she missed a week of school? Or was it merely Saturday night, causing her to miss nothing more than the phone calls of her friends?

Her eyes drifted idly over the cracked screen of her phone in her hands as she turned it on. "I've almost got enough to fix this thing," she considered. A quick flick of her finger lit the screen up as her nail opened the pictures folder.

Inside was a collection of her and her friends at a recent bonfire that had taken place in some guy named Anthony's backyard. She hadn't really known the guy all that well, but he had been a friend of Becca's boyfriend at the time. Her finger tossed that folder to the side as she moved to the next one.

A picture of her sister came up that she had been sent over her computer. A laugh escaped her briefly. "Terra, I can't wait to see you guys. You've got to show me around the place," she repeated at the picture for what seemed to be the dozenth time. "I hear that Kajin Rala has grown so much since my last visit. If it weren't for you guys, that place would still be just another rock."

She'd been told that when she got there, someone had been selected to enter her into a group of people that were learning to control their own inner powers. It was ironic, she mused. That would have been so helpful here. The closest she'd gotten to being able to control her powers was to get awkwardly hung over a guy that likely wouldn't want to speak to her again. She had, as best as she could tell, gotten wasted on something and made a complete fool out of herself. She couldn't tell if she'd approached him like a drunken prom date, or had come off more like a virgin that had just lost it to the guy the night before and decided that it meant the stars had aligned and he would forever be her squishy.

"Ugh, sis, do you ever creep guys out like that by overdoing it?"

Sadly, while a picture is worth a thousand words, it still didn't give them a voice. She locked the screen once more and dropped the phone into her jacket pocket as the blue tinted barrier shimmered into view directly before her.

It had almost entirely lost its intimidation factor by now. Sure, the other side was always a strange new world. She could accept that. But, she hadn't really cared too much about following a specific path. She had left her sector of choice entirely in the hands of fate. In all honesty, after awakening from Sophia's understandable, yet painful, sucker punch, she had just stood up and spund around with a random stick like it was a game of drunken baseball before walking down a random street.

Whatever, and whoever, was on the other side of this barrier, and further within its bunker, was something that she was ready to face. She swallowed a moment to calm herself before stepping through the shimmering barrier, her map grasped tightly in the hand that was the last thing through before she decided the direction to turn off her collar.

Quote:Ashe has left the City Sector and has entered the Forest Sector. She has entered the Forest Sector Bunker.
