I want to be infantile and say something like, "Poop," with a sad face, but here goes.

Arcade's thing was great, but I wanna see something staff run that brings people together (without making them compete, in-character or otherwise). Anyone staff picks is bound to run an amazing storyline saga. And while these tournaments have their place in lore, the whole gameshow thing back to back makes me shrivel up and shirk away like I would from a T.V. that only had Game Show Network (GSN).

Srsly. Sophia could write a kickass storyline (Storyline versus gameshow here). I'm not just worried about competition or any of that. I'd rather spar in a stolidly paced storyline saga, lose, and carry on than beat some newbie for points... Saga's like this that eliminate people via competition simply ensure that those who need the practice with other writers (or roleplayers lulz) don't get it.

Most possible implied assumptions can be thrown out the window, meaning I don't intend to insult anyone. This is just an opinion.

I understand what you're saying, but please don't judge my saga before I even have anything up.

EDIT: And that's not me emoing about what you said. I just hope you'll be...pleasantly surprised, even if you don't participate. The competition, while a major part of the story, is only about half of it.

EDIT2: Just caught your edit. Players who get "eliminated" are still very much part of the saga. The story might be built around a game, but it's still primarily a storyline saga. Believe me, I feel the same way as you do, but ASS was something that I really wanted to expand on.
