When I worked at McDonalds I had shifts like that. I'm an idot and because I need lots of food and require mental preparation for the days work I got their at 4:30.

it sucks butttt. I make 12 dollars an hour and I work from 4 am to 9 am every day seven days a week. Come home sleep go out have a good time and then report to work.

I work for my aunts cleaning bussiness and this job i do is at a sea food resuraunt./sports bar so basically i get paid to inhale nasty fisha nd clean up other peoples good times.

There's actually some pretty astounding stuff in there. More people surveyed from the silent generation believe that couples living together without getting married is bad for society than believe that more gay people raising children is bad for society.

Generational differences have always been something I find very interesting. Teaches you an awful lot.

(2:26:04 AM): There are multiple people that have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, all three, requested every week entirely because they just don't like those days, and those people get the most hours available on Monday - Thursday of each week

(2:46:08 AM): So she apparently came in with my mom and my mom's fourth husband and my grandfather yesterday when I wasn't working and from what I heard, she had to stop multiple times to rest when trying to make her way out the building, and had been in and out of the hospital again
(2:46:31 AM): which will REALLY REALLY suck if anything happens to her or my grandfather, given that if I had to pick favs, they'd be the closest of all my family members

Can't believe I read all that. Honestly though, low-grade management jobs actually exist solely to be filled by inept blowhards with no people skills or discernable talents aside from the burning desire to keep in line employees they're convinced don't actually have any common sense themselves. If you're part time you also automatically go to the bottom of that pile of employees. At my old job my manager developed a vendetta against me after I refused to work Christmas (job in the city I go to school in, family in different city, no trains over Christmas etc. Also I wasn't actually contracted to work Christmas anyway)

After that I just felt like you do, passed up for everything for no good reason and so on. I ended up just quitting, but it's clear you have a lot more financial responsibilties than I did, so obviously it's not that easy.
