So... this past week I've played three games where someone left near the beginning of the game...and reconnected near the end. The last game which wound up lasting 56 minutes and a Tryndamere reconnected just as I was finishing off a tower and about to pummel the nexus.

Also, a rage: Mundo and Orianna on my team top against a vlad. Easy peesy I think. 5, yes, 5 motherfucking doublekills shoveled into vlad by twenty minutes. Then, I find myself alone bot as Janna against enemy mundo and Xin, eventually making the only tower kill on my team for the whole game as my partner nunu decides halfway through the game he wants to jungle. so me and a pretty badass Ezreal vs. 4 fairly competent players and a Xin who said he only plays threes, so got ganked like 10 times for wandering alone. Fuck.

Because the tank has to make decisions as if he's in control of all five champions, but those four other champions are actually controlled by four different people, and when everyone isn't on the same page, the tank can fail spectacularly.

Communication is key to being the tank. You need to ask questions and make sure your team is with you.
