This is MAFIA. The rules are pretty simple. In the DAY PHASE, which lasts 24 hours, you can talk and discuss, and also vote to LYNCH people by putting their name in bold as such: Lynch Rose. You may retract your vote by posting No lynch or Unvote. If, at the end of the 24-hour day phase, one person has a majority vote, ie more than half, they get lynched, and their role is revealed. So if there's 11 people alive, you need 6 lynch votes to lynch.
The NIGHT PHASE begins immediately ending the day phase, and lasts 24 hours maximum (I will try to end it earlier than that). In this phase, mafia members can PM each other to decide who they want to kill, and then PM me when they've decided. Other than that, no discussion of mafia is allowed by townspeople in the night phase, including the chatbox, other forum topics, PMing and IMing.
The mafia win if at any point they outnumber the townspeople. The townspeople win if they manage to kill all the mafia.
Other than that, no quotes or screenshots of any kind. Your word is your only weapon. I strongly discourage you from trying to use forum mechanics such as watching the who's online list, etc, as that breaks the game. I want you to figure out who people are in the topics themselves. If you're not playing or dead, don't post in the thread or PM anyone! Please play by the rules, otherwise there's really no point playing! And please post at least once a day!
In this game, there are 3 mafia. One of the townspeople is a cop, with the ability to guess alignments. One is a doctor, with the ability to protect others. One other is a vigilante, with the ability to kill someone at night.

Man, remembering how standard mafia works is going to be rough. We've got a Sheriff, a Doctor, and a Vigilante? I'm guessing 3 mafia based on those numbers. I hate Day One lynches since they primarily are based on just "THIS MOTHERFUCKER" but at the same time, everyday skipped is a day for the mafia to get clean kills.

Problem is, then some smart ass gets a few days in and "Hurr, Bobby voted for TOWNIE on Day One and so did two other people, clearly they are mafia because we know that this other guy is a TOWNIE!" and ignore that Day One votes are made on completely blank information.

It's not really who they vote for so much as bandwagons, which is basically why it's so suspicious. I could rehash the whole odds of actually snagging a Mafia on Day 1 based on nothing but random information, but there's no point really, since most people get that I think.
Instead, I'll go with FUQ U GAIZ A VOTE FOR DOE IS A VOTE FOR MAFIA (winning) SO DON'T DO IT!
