So, watched most of the games today. Think I prefer streams tbh, world championship games are so...pristine? Pretty much whoever has the most gold at ten minutes wins the game. There were no comebacks or even close games, at all.

post2: Apparently there's word going around that Azubu Frost cheated in their first game with TSM (pinging TSM's position in the jungle 15 seconds into the game when TSM planned their 5-man invade on top). Have you guys heard about this? Thoughts?

There's a vlog from Reginald talking about the incident. There were some screenshots being posted that were being taken from various points in the game (such as during picks/bans) and saying it is clear proof of cheating. It was nice to hear the actual player's perspective (not that's he's a particularly unbiased source).
Personally, I think they probably did cheat. I also think there were probably other teams doing/trying to do the same thing and I doubt anything at all will happen regarding teams cheating.

Pretty crazy. Shame that such a massive event gets rocked by something like this. Sucks to be on Riot's end; any confirmation of cheating kinda invalidates such a massive tournament, but ignoring it just makes the community fester.

Ultimately I don't think it will end up being that big a deal. There were going to be people trying to throw around accusations of cheating no matter what. I think Regi did a really good job being a good sportsman about the whole, readily admitting that they could have been looking around for any number of reasons and that what happened happened.
Definitely some good lessons learned about events, though, I'm sure.
