Mass Effect on PS3
#1
So, Microsoft's exlusive contract finally expired and Bioware put it on the PlaystationStore a few days ago ($15, not a bad price). It aged well enough, I was afraid that it would be unplayable after so many years. Even though I just went through ME3 a few weeks ago I'm having no trouble getting back into the first title.

Really enjoying driving the Mako across monochrome wastelands again. It's a shame it was so unpopular back in the day that Bioware cut it out of the sequel. My only complaint is the rarity of autosaving, I lose a lot of time repeating entire worlds after I suddenly run into a tough battle.

This will be the first time I take a single character through the entire series. Went with the default John Soldier, playing as pro human loose cannon that's just trying to bring some order to this crazy galaxy.

If I buy this and have already gotten a few DLC from ME2 and 3, will this game pick up on that and install them?

I would be shocked if it did.

Hmm, I would keep an eye on bioware social's DLC website for that. Some is cross platform, like I got dlcs for Dragon Age 2 on both pc and xbox 360 (despite not owning the game, some promo stuff)

E: I just checked my DLC and some of it is also on the PS3 now. I would check that site.

I hated the Mako. The overheating of the guns was a tough obstacle to overcome. I know for sure I didn't get the chance to finish a bunch of side quests or even start them. Oh well. I'll replay it soon enough.
