Some spoilers below if you haven't watched the game, so... yeah.

Curse vs Vulcun really put into perspective one of the things I hate about the current state of the game: how hard it is to peel. If you watch Zuna during the game, he just had no chance to ever do anything in a fight. Curse decided that they were just going to barrel in on Vayne and that's what happened. Now, part of that was because Nidalee was not often there, so the engagements were often 4v5 (sometimes just 4v4, though), but the problem would have been the same with or without Nid. GGU had Lulu, Sona, and Hecarim, so it's not like they didn't have peel. It just didn't matter. So irritating that you can just stack HP and charge through damage to kill someone who had no mid-game survivability options.

Good lord Vulcun is looking awesome. Zuna and mancloud just beasting on people.

Really sad about CLG's performance so far, though. Their team comps have just seemed awkward and their bans have been horrible. I assume they're experimenting with shit right now (I actually think Nasus is a really good champ for Hotshot) but something about it is just not working. In the current meta, they can't have all tanks and hope Doublelift kills everything. It's just way too easy to gap close onto ADCs right now (I still cringe when people pick Kog with Xin, Jarvan, Elise, and Vi being some of the most popular bruisers right now).

I watched the last to games yesterday as soon as I realized they were on. Vulcans game against coL was purely one sided. Dignitas vs CLG, when I watched it, had me a bit confused. I hadn't watched anything since Season 2 and am not fully familiar with the new masteries and items. I thought clg had a chance when they won that one team fight, but I realized cleanse has been being used a bit more lately and Hotshot only really was able to get his ult off when the one guy had just messed up with his flash.

Other then that its interesting to see Scarra not in mid...

Scarra was in mid. He was playing Kayle.

CLG's problem that game was that they really only had one damage threat. Link was playing way too sloppy. I get trying to initiate with Ahri's Charm, and it works, but he needed to let someone else do the follow-up. He was trying to dash in and combo someone down, which just led to him getting annihilated and CLG only having Kog for damage. He needed to skirt around the fights and use Ahri's mobility to stay alive, not try to burst someone down (the enemy team having Kayle already makes that a pretty bad proposition).

I was just really surprised they let Dig have Kayle. Scarra has said multiple times that they think Kayle is one of the most broken champions right now and that they'll always pick her if she's available because they have three players (I'm sure you could call it 4, but I don't think they'd go back to putting her in bot lane) who are all very confident in how they play the champ. And, clearly, whatever CLG thought they had to deal with Kayle did not work. Overall, though, the game was pretty close, and a great one to watch.

Yeah, a lot of mid laners have switched to playing bruisers and assassins in mid lane because damage is cheaper and armor is more expensive and AP doesn't scale as high into late game anymore (in general; obviously if you're ultra fed ultra...).

Xin is one of the strongest junglers right now because basically no one out-damages him early game and his ganks are strong and he has a 15% armor shred.

How is Jax doing this series?

It was the last game of Week 3 Day 1.

CLG is receiving a lot of criticism (mostly from fans, so take that for what its worth) because of Hotshot's pretty horrible pool of champions. That's a criticism that's he's been getting for a while, to be fair, but I don't think it's shown quite as much as it does right now. His play style really revolves around being a tank and that usually means he's not bringing enough damage to a fight. It's so easy to get to ADCs right now that it puts a lot of pressure on Doublelift to make up for that damage. And link, really.

Has links to all the VoDs and that's where they stream the actual matches, as well. Times and schedules and everything are there as well as team scores and player stats and shit like that.
