No, not a virus. This harlem shake thing is supposed to be a new meme, and someone's already made a script that you can use in your browser to make different elements "dance" in tune to this music. It's pretty fun.

Honestly, I haven't really found this particular trend to be all that appealing. It felt really overdone the moment it started, which might just be its proximity to Gangnam Style and the fact that every single company Youtube I watch has independently decided to put a video out for it.

I'm a huge fan of the Harlem Shake. As with anything popular, though, there's good shit and bad shit. The good shit can be really good, and the bad shit can be really bad.
