Super Mafia Bros. 2 Dream 4
#1
Deep in his hole, Mouser slept peacefully, confident that he was safe hidden away in the walls. After all, the Mafia hadn't killed anyone last night and it was obvious that they had simply given up. And even if they hadn't, who would take the time to whack a mouse with sunglasses. Hell, based on looks alone, he was 90% Mafia already.

His confidence would prove to be his undoing, however. Waking from a blissful dream, he immediately smelled the cheese. Still groggy, he barely wondered where it might have came from before hunting it down. When he found it, the part of his brain the registered fear immediately cried out. Unfortunately, his mousey instincts drove him on, each step taking his inexorably towards the mouse trap laid in plain sight on the floor. With a snippy snap, the deed was done and soft laughter accompanied the death of Mouser.

In the morning, the town would see that Mouser was missing and the aura of fear which they had temporarily thrown off came back two-fold. They knew that to make a mistake from here on could spell disaster. They had to start getting their guesses right.

Dream phase guys, and thanks for being understanding. I'm trying to fix my sleep schedule at the moment, so I'm not up all night anymore. As such, this phase will last until 8 am EST on Thursday. Have fun!

That's random, though thinking on it I suppose it makes sense. So we've got a rough situation. We don't know about Dehan, though of the powers listed, it still seems he's the most likely candidate for mafia. I would call Kayne guaranteed town (or godfather type role). I'm the doctor, though obviously you guys have reason to take that with a grain of salt. I can't really do anything to prove it to you guys given the nature of my role.

So if there is one other, its between (at least for me, given that I am the only person in our group that can 100% rule me out, just like each of you can rule yourself out) Teemer or Doe for the liar, if Dehan is not a solo mafia member. Which is entirely possible, I suppose, given the two lives thing (perhaps counts as two mafia or something) but I'm not sure that's the route they'd take. I think Teemer's power (and some of his posts) are the most suspect of the two, honestly, but I give Doe more credit on the hitlist targets (King B was a pretty safe kill for them since the double vote is pretty dangerous out of the remaining powers and I'm going to be protecting myself).

What was Kayne's power again? I don't remember and don't feel like looking through, so enjoy this stream of thought.

Thinking on it... Of the powers of King B (double vote) and Doe (forced lynch)... Why was Doe not the target? I'd call his the more dangerous. This is all over the place, but actually given the powers, I think I'm the most skeptical about Doe and Teemer, with Dehan actually being town (I don't see why a mafia would have this ability, and the others could just be lying about their own). I still remember Doe pushing hardcore to get the Sheriff lynched after his reveal with Teemer being the final vote to seal the deal after we started looking like we realized it wasn't a great idea to lynch our Sheriff.

I think Teemer is the most likely mafia candidate and I think that Doe is also a mafia (at this point in time) and lying about their powers. Dehan's power doesn't make sense for a mafia, Kayne has been validated by Mal, and I know I'm not (which leaves the onus on you to now accuse me and try to act like one of the other dead roles are some kind of doctor). I would do the "Wart was the main bad guy of Mario 2" routine but that's just bad logic because we already know that if Wart is also mafia, its entirely just coincidence and not intended to be a give away.

Dehan might take the title of "Worst Mafia Player" away from Vad.

I'm currently most suspicious of Kayne, and I know how suspicious that seems since she's been "confirmed" by Mal. The reason why I say that is because, besides Dehan whose powers were demonstrated, Kayne is the only one who hasn't given a good description of her powers. She gave neither her power's name nor a description more than "if I'm targeted, they'll get what they deserve right on back."

What I propose is that you elaborate, Kayne. Or face the wrath of my noose.

Here's the interesting thing. If both you and Kayne are telling the truth, then you can simply force lynch Kayne as you threaten to do, and its entirely possible that her power will then reverse the lynch onto you. I haven't verified where she posted that power yet (missed it) but if that's the case, that explains why mafia didn't risk trying to kill her. That would mean that Kayne is semi-unkillable by mafia, as well as myself due to protecting myself at night.

I think its fair you demonstrate your power and force a lynch vote on someone. Force lynch me, if you want. Prove to us that your claim isn't simply a deterrent to keep us from considering voting you (which seems to be the same exactly claim Teemer is using as well).

EDIT: Also, here's what Teemer stated his ability to be : "I'm Peach. I have Diplomatic Immunity. I can pre-choose a phase to keep myself from dying, but it has to be in before the phase." So if there's any question on if he's mafia or town, I think today is the last day to test it, IF he's telling the truth. Given the weakness involved in his ability, its quite possible that he is a mafia that also does truthfully have this ability. It would be balanced by the need to preemptively guess when people are going to gun for you, which is strong but not game breaking (unless he survived to the final moment). I think he's being truthful about his power but untruthful about his faction.

On the other hand, I think Doe is being untruthful about both. I think the way we test this is to all vote for Teemer, and dare Doe to do exactly as he has threatened to do since he first revealed his power (stating he'll lynch anyone that doesn't reveal, and now making the threat again - despite not doing such). Yeah, he could have just held off for whatever reason, but I call it an empty threat. I don't think he has that power.

In the event that he does have that power and is town, then I would say the third place would be Dehan in that his ability would be similar to Teemer's as a "mafia with a chance to not die" setup.

1. Teemer
2. Doe
3. Dehan
4. Ashe
5. Kayne

I'm sorry to say that you're wrong on both accounts Ashe, about me anyway. Also, you should put yourself at the bottom of the suspicion list. The only people that are still alive are the four who voted for Mal on day 2 and yourself.

If what I think is right, the town has already won. The mafia are Teemer and Kayne.

I'd love to lay the game Wink hope we get one going next week during my spring break. And I'm unsure who to vote for at this time. I'm sure that Doe and Ashe are mafia...but screw it. Someone has to go and I will hold off on a vote for now.

I wanted to keep my power hidden until I could try to find out who could most likely be Mafia but of course you all forced my hand. Anywho, I'm going to sit back for a while today and see who all posts and says what before I vote.

But I'm looking at you Doe. You're mafia. And I know it.

I know you know nothing, Dehan, and that's enough for me.

Um, I've been validated early on in this game. I haven't felt the need to push my innocence since a third party who has no stake in my succession has proven that I am a townie. The proof of others is far better than trying to prove my own innocence.

The reason why I won't go too in depth with my power (just yet) is because it's only activated against mafia and gives me a chance at being protected from a killing. If I get into mechanics, it could eventually screw me. If I end up randomly dead, it means that my power unfortunately failed.

This killing is pretty surprising. I had an inkling king was mafia, but this only means we're getting closer. If Ashe is the doc, then we have teemer, doe and dehan to look at.

Sorry but that was my power Kayne...two having the same power is kind of ridiculous. I'm guessing your power was to somehow convince Mal that you were townie while you were instead mafia.

You're a suspect. Again.

Lynch Teemer.

Deciding to lynch Teemer because he's too quiet and Doe is next on my list anyway. It won't be any surprise when I cast my vote for you Doe...and if I die or am targeted it's going to be a big sign that you my friend are mafia.

That is pretty strange. Maybe an oversight by Blue? Is yours also luck based? I can still be killed off, but it's a 50/50 chance for success. It also has a 50/50 chance to hit back and kill the person who attacked. None of the mafs have died so far, so either I've been lucky or they haven't attacked me yet.

Also, Lynch Dehan. You're not foolin' anyone, brah.

Quit an ability but mine was just the 1up. I liked it because it gave me a chance to test the waters and see the suspects. Namely Doe, You and Ashe.
