But as to the reason why you went for him, I'd assume it was because you assumed he was the sheriff, because hounds have been associated with having an allegiance-esque sniffing ability, as you stated in your initial ability.

W-We are in the Forest of Death for the Chunin exams. Similar to the Chunin exams when they had to obtain both scrolls and reach a destination. The animals there were rather dangerous.

I-umm suspect that the character listing will probably only be the kids that were in those exams.

Maybe I was unclear. I highly doubt Mizuki is a character, because he was already a Chunin, who was locked up at the time and later...after the exam... showed his animal curse mark in a filler episode that allowed him to become a bipedal tiger.

The tiger wasn't what... killed K-Kiba.... The Kunai in the neck was what killed him(The tiger is Doe's added flavor of filler).

King B is the one that killed Kiba. He was the only other person to visit Kiba's camp aside from me, and as I said, I am the infiltrator. I get to pick a character at night and see who visited them.

Bro, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? The quirk for being Naruto is soooooo fucking obvious. Even Blue figured it out in my first FREAKING post!!!

I think Sigfried is probably someone like Neiji. What a scum, getting in my way of becoming Hokage. I beat his ASS in the Chuunin exams anyway! BELIEVE IT!
