Just an idea

Okay, this is a serious idea, I'm not posting it just cause I feel like spamming or post whore.

What would anyone think of some kind of Bi-Annual award show/ceremony/thing? Like, say, nominations and then winners. Catagories would be like "Best Roleplayer" and "Best Fight Scene."

Also, could possible have "Roleplay of the Month."

This idea is mainly to make people ready other's roleplays, and plus its a fun little side project I'd be interested in doing if the staff backs me up.

Well all votes would be done via PM so its not like anyone would know who you voted. And as for giving a sense of surperiority, I dont agree. I think people here are smart enough to not say "I GOT THE AWARD! YOU SUCK!" Because that would likely lead them to a ban

I think it'd be simply a fun thing to do. Like not a serious "NO WAY! I GOT THE BEST FIGHT SCENE AWARD! I RULE!" I think it'd just be an interesting, fun thing to do.

I think it wouldn't hurt just to do it once to see how it would work, and then if people are being gay about it, we just wouldn't do it again. Sort of a test run, if you will.

I like the idea. It would be fun and I think more people would RP and RP better just so they can get the rewards. You should show our faces on the main page for winners, too! Well our IC characters that is.

I'll talk to staff about it, if it goes through, I'll do ONE catagory as a test run. And by staff I mean maybe two or three back-ups, since I already got Broli's.

How should we go about it? Just have people PM their nominations to me, and if we get too many noms, possible have a board of three-four people to eliminate some, leaving us at say....four to six nominees?

How about just running it like a standard oscar type affair, you ahve people surgest who they want (say they say their own top 4, minus them selves) & that way you can work out who would be in the final top 4 list.. Just a surrgestion thou..

You can't really do it from the beginning of the RPG because a lot of people haven't been here since the begining. There's only like 5 or 6 people who were the first few to join Chubbs. It should be more like since the beginning of this message board.

It'll be like for this year or the past few months. Most newbies have read recent roleplays before they joined, I know Recoome, Minoshia, and Goku Jr have read alot. I started reading rps before I joined as well
