This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but recently I've been getting lots of requests on AIM and MSN for updates, and that's it. I jump on, and five seconds later, "Goku, can you ...." and fill in the blanks.

If something needs updating, don't pester staff like this. It makes us not want to do it. It is a deterrent. We will eventually see your post, and will update it when we find the time. All you need to do is to post either OOC in your thread that something has ended (a small notification mind you) or, if it's like Ki Sense, post a small thread on the Q/S/U board. Staff will be much more willing to help then.

If it is REALLY REALLY urgent, and note how I wrote 'really', please make use of your dusty PM system. It is there for a reason, and if you don't get a reply straight away, but feel like your life will collapse on itself until you get one, get off your damn computer and do something outside.

There, that's better. And I don't think I swore once. In summary:

AIM/MSN updates to staff = bad
Posting once or PMing staff = good
Posting constantly about an update = very very bad >=O

But, just for updating things. I can access certain things, so dont ask me to do something big, like approve a technique. Cause I wont.

DO NOT POST saying "Burter, Goku, someone! UPDATE ME!" Just IM me, and ask, politely, for me to update it.

Its not that we can't stand it, Burter, its just that we've been at it a lot longer than you.

What I'm getting pissed about is the way people seem to think that the staff owes them these updates. I don't know if I've made this clear or not, but we do this out of our own spare time and we get nothing in return for it. It may be that that is not at all how people think, but that sure as hell is how some people make it sound.

I don't think I ask for updates, just questions once and awhile then I like to talk about stuff outside of the RPG. It lets me get to know people...Kind of...ok no it doesn't. I have always appreciated what you guys have done and I made a thread a long time ago for you guys. You guys are my role models! ^_^ xD
