Team Rocket
Greetings! First and foremost, please allow us to welcome you to Chubbs? Dragon Ball Z RPG. You are clearly seriously considering joining as you have found your way to the rules page. Here we will cover everything from joining to warning, from How to RP (role play) correctly, to how to manage yourself in the out of character boards. If you are a member then these rules are for you. If you are not yet a member of the RPG, then please read the join section found immediately below. We thank you for taking the time to read this and we hope you enjoy your time here, with compliments,
The Chubbs? Team.
Well, now that?s out of the way, the first thing you?ll need to know how to do is actually join the RPG. Below is a guide detailing how to create and submit a join application and the requirements during both processes.
Joining
Now, joining an RPG community such as Chubbs is a little different than joining any other message board. We don?t want a hundred members just signing up to spam with no clue how to role play. This is why we ask that a join application is submitted on the message boards for the staff to review. We appreciate this is slower, but please understand it is crucial to keep the RPG under control. Below is a guide to successfully signing up and becoming a part of the CDBZ community.
? Firstly, on the right-hand navigation bar, click the link ?Role Play?. This will take you to the message board that serves as the main bulk of the RPG. From there, please disregard any of the forums, but scroll down until you see the ?Join? forum.
? After selecting the ?Join? forum, please click the button ?create a new thread?. Now here?s the tricky part.
? You must select a character from the Inactive section of the Roster which can be found along the navigation bar of the main site. Even if an e-mail address is used on a character?s roster page, if they are on the inactive list, they ARE available.
? You must include your e-mail address, AOL Instant Messenger Screen name (If applicable), your MSN Messenger Screen Name (If applicable) and your ICQ number (If applicable)
? You must choose your characters personality. Please limit this to two or three words describing him/her please. For example: Personality: Ruthless and Evil.
? You must select a planet to begin on. You may choose between Earth, Namek and Vegeta.
? You must select three starting moves or ?best? moves for your character. Please bear in mind that you can use any move you come across, but this will not be nearly as powerful as a ?best? move. For example, if you have a Kamehameha as your best move, and someone does not, they can still use it but it will be far weaker than yours.
? You must write a sample role play. This should be a minimum of three hundred words long and must be written in third-person past tense. For example; ?It was a fateful day. Jones had bought milk for his cat and salmon for his motorcycle. All was silent. He looked up to the sky ominously knowing his impending doom would arrive. Soon.? Please also check your role play using a spelling and grammar checker. First impressions are everything.
? Next, please wait patiently for approval. We apologize for any delay in this, but we, as staff are very busy and dedicate our time to this where we can. Please be patient. If you are overlooked in the joining process and staff continue to grade applications but not yours, please post a polite reminder.
? Finally, once you are approved, register a forum account with your character?s name and you will be activated and can start posting.
? If you find any of these instructions difficult to understand, please post a message on the ?Questions, Suggestions & Updates? board. Thank you.
Now you are a member of Chubbs? Dragonball Z RPG, you will no doubt be eager to start rping. Firstly, please read these comprehensive rules on how to conduct yourself on the IC (In Character) Forums:
Roleplaying: There are several important rules that one needs to follow when he/she joins the community. I will go over them in more detail in a minute but let?s just lay them out on the line so people know them.
1) First and most important, stay active.
2) Please write all RPs in third person, and in past tense
3) No full OOC posts in anyone of the IC forums (exception being the spar request forum and Cbay where you just need to bid, and yes this does include the CC shop)
Alright, those seem to be the major rules at this point. First lets go over them. Staying active. I know what you?re thinking; this is a pretty obvious rule, why did I put it here. Well to tell you the truth, and I have done it myself many times people tend to join the RPG, post for a good couple of weeks, maybe a month, and then they just disappear. No post as to why they left, they just vanish. Granted we have come to expect that and we are fine with it, but then you have a popular character like Goku (who I have done that with) and no one is playing as him, and we as the staff don?t know where you went, we think you?ll be back, and that?s just more time perspective RPers have to wait if they wanted to be him.
Next, please write all RPs in third person, and in past tense. Its not that we don?t like the first person style writing, it?s just?well actually it is that we don?t like first person. The story tends to flow better if we all post the same way and third person is the way we have opted to go. As for the past tense, we find that it just sounds better and more professional.
Ex: I walk to the door and open it, surprised at what is happening in the almost full room.
Where as it could sound so much better as
Ex: He walked up to the door, and opened it. His face turned to complete horror at the sight he saw in the almost full room.
See it just sounds better and allows for more writing.
Now, for the last one, No full OOC posts in the IC forums. This one also self explanatory but I feel we should go over it like we did with the others. This rule is probably one of the ones that new members seem to break the most. We have a RP discussion board which will be explained later, so you don?t need to post in someone?s post how you liked their imagery. Also, we almost always have a discussion thread up for any saga/tournament that is going on, and you can always make one for any personal saga/quest you are doing. This is so that we can try and keep the OOC posting in IC boards to a minimum. There are certain times you might need to post OOC in an IC board which is not frowned upon as long as you have a minimum of a few IC sentences. That is, however just for if you are asking something of someone IC and you are involved in that post. If you are not involved we kindly ask you to use the PM system we have.
Sagas (Both personal and RPG wide): Sagas can be either made by a member or by one of us on the staff. We usually have a saga going at all times, although there are some points in which we allow the members to go off by them selves, develop relationships with other characters, stuff like that. Both sagas are run almost the same way, whether a staff member runs it, or just a regular member. The person running it puts up a post, and any one who is around, or wants to join can post joining up, finding what is described in the first post. Members play off of each others posts, adding depth and drama to the story. Once you are in a saga it is very hard if not impossible to leave it. You would either have to die, or become inactive for the remainder of it, which won?t be looked to highly upon by the person running and he/she will most likely kill you for becoming inactive. At the end of the saga, if you were active through out the whole thing we as the staff like to give out rewards, the better you?re Role playing, the better your reward. These awards could vary from techniques to items that cost too much for your starting salary.
Tournaments: The same with Saga?s Tournaments can be run by anyone in the RPG, but it is usually done by staff. In a tournament, like any DBZ one you have seen we try to start out with 16 fighters, but sometimes that is hard to come by. Each round goes by and with each round you lose in you do get extra zeni, but the winner gets something else. A rare item, maybe, if we are feeling really generous the reward for winning will be a dragon ball. A tournament round is run just like a spar or fight would be ran (which will be explained later so I will let you refer to those rules and not waist anymore time on this)
Personal saga/Quests: Personal saga?s and Quests you can do on your own or have a few people join in with you. A personal saga can be about anything. Going back home to get some of mom?s old cooking. Traveling to a distant planet in hopes to gain more power, anything you want, the staff does not care where you go with these. However, on that note, if you are trying to gain power we as staff do have the final say in whether or not you achieved your mission. If we think you need to post more we will tell you, if you got it, we will tell you, if you are completely off course, once again, we will tell ya. Another good thing about Personal Sagas is that you can create your own NPC to go along with you and help you out. This NPC can be anything, with any power level. If you really wanted to give him a godly amount of power that is fine by us, hell he can even travel along with you when your Personal Saga is done, but he can not join in any battles against PCs. You can not fight with him in a spar or tournament.
Quests can be found Here. You select the planet you are on and then go over to the right scroll bar. If the quest has a n by it that means it is still free to anyone. If it has a y next to it unfortunately someone beat you to it and it is no longer available. Don?t worry though; we are always thinking up new quests when the planet is almost full of accomplished quests. When you click on a quest a description will pop up on the page. It will tell you the name, which we would like the title of your thread to be with the word quest proceeding it. So if you were to do one with the name Slap my furry arse your thread title would be Quest: Slap my furry arse. Then, you will see what planet the quest is offered on, the amount of Training points you will receive for completing that certain quest and the amount of zeni you will receive as well. Please also note that this is just the minimum amount you can receive. If you go above and beyond what is expected you can gain more points. Right after the zeni award again it tells you whether or not the quest has been completed, and then a description, Requirements, difficulty, and then what is happening that some one has requested your help. You can join up with a few people to do these quests, and each of you will get the reward listed on the quest page.
Techniques: Techniques are anything that can be found Here. SSJ/SNS/Transformations/Ki sense/IT, all of these consist of Techniques that you can learn. The tech page goes into more depth about each one of these techniques, but I would like to point out a few ways to earn some of the ones that do not come with a power boost, or one that is basically tells you how to get. These are like Telepathy, Fusion, Healing, and Teleportation. All of these can be achieved in a saga, but you might have to have a great amount of luck on your side for one of us staff members to give it to you. Instead, you can do a personal saga, one which is a good amount of posts (20-25) give or take, and all the posts are good quality. You need to spend some quality time on achieving these techniques, but if you do put in the time, and we see that you have it will be well worth your time.
Miscellaneous: On a side note, under no circumstances are you allowed to kill your chracter. The staff reserves that right and only we may kill a PC. This is to save the fact that any character who feels friendly towards a Saiya-Jin might just get them selves killed in a personal saga so their friend can go SSJ and they can go to King Ki's planet to learn KK and Genki Dama. People who deserve the a reward will get that reward, there is no reason for you to kill RP someone killing you, unless you have talked with a staff member and we have approved it, but that is highly unlikely.
Now that the base rules for role playing have been made clear, please read the below rules on sparring.
Spars/Fights:
Spars: Spars are one of the most important parts of the community. It is in spars where the PC to PC relationship grows and builds. In most sagas, you are lead by the leader; they are very linear, where as with spars, much like Personal Sagas, you decide where the fight goes. The difference is that with in a spar you are fighting another player. There are, in essence two different types of spars. An All-in-One spar, and a Post by post spar. To start a spar you post here Here, with the title of your thread being [Planet on spar request] So, if you were on Earth the title would read Earth Spar request. In the content of the thread you can post basically what ever you are looking for in the spar. Some people ask to fight someone around their powerlevel. It is really up to you. Once some one agrees to spar you, this might take a day or two depending on how many people are on your planet, so please, don?t get frustrated and go on a killing rampage, you will post a thread Here. The title of this thread should read [planet you are on] Person1 vs. Person2. So once again if it was on earth our title would read Earth Spar: Lord Slug vs. Kami?something to that affect. You can have more then two people in a spar, and just keep adding the names onto your title until you have every one covered. Please make sure you are on the same planet as the person you wish to spar.
All-in-One Spar: An all in one spar is basically just what the name says. Two characters meet on a battlefield yet only one of the two people writes the spar. It is a very long post, that involves at the end either one person losing and one person winning. This form is the lesser known form due to the fact that the rewards are usually less for both warriors since one did not get to write anything at all.
Post by Post Spar: This is by far a more well know spar with in the Chubbs community. This spar consists of numerous posts by both players. It can last as long as they want, and both people decide on when the spar ends. It does take longer to write then the All-in-One style but it is worth the time as the rewards are greater.
Finishing up the Spar: When both parties have agreed that the spar has ended one person should write up the final post, unless it was an All-in-One spar. Once the spar is finished please in your last post of fighting at the very bottom OOC put who won and who lost. Granted this will not decrease the amount you gain from the spar, as both fighters will most likely receive the same award unless they Rped better (see below for rewards). We ask you to do this so we can know, nothing more or less, just so we can see who won, and also see if the other person deserved the win more, although we won?t go and change the outcome.
Rewards: Rewards for spars vary. It all really depends on how much and how well you Roleplay the spar.
+1 TP +50 Zeni ? This goes out to the spar that shows effort, but was just not all there. The description was not as good as we might of wanted it, something like that.
+2 TP +100 Zeni ? This goes to the spar that really proved something, maybe it wasn?t perfect but it defiantly showed imagery, it painted a picture with very few holes of black.
+3 TP +200 Zeni ? Wow. This spar was amazing. Painted a terrific picture in our minds, we could see the fight happening right in front of us. It was as if we were watching the show, and by show I mean Japanese version, not the crappy American dubbed version.
(Note: Staff does reserve the right to give out more points then said here, and we also reserve to give out no points, although that will only happen if you did not post/try what so ever.)
Fights: Fights are pretty much the same as Spars except for one major difference, in a Fight, you are going for blood. You want to hurt/maim/kill your opponent. Due to this there are some rules that go along with Fights that are not associated with Spars. To organize a fight you don?t have to go through everything you did with. Like with spars, you do need to be on the same planet, and you need to run into them. You simply post Here and the title should be Fight: Player1 vs. Player2. So in the case above it would be Fight: Lord Slug vs. Kami. Before you post any IC RPing we would like you to post in OOC why you are fighting this person. Remember to read below, as no OOC reasons are allowed to start a fight. If you are evil we do let this IC rule slide because well, you?re evil and that?s what evil people do, but please make sure you have a good IC reason if you are not evil. We do reserve the right to turn a fight down if the IC is not good.
1) To have a fight you must have a very good IC reason to fight them. We will not allow you to fight someone because they said that your mother was a whore and your father smelt of elderberries.
2) A fight only lasts a couple minutes at most 5 or 10 (IC Time) so to have some one save you from getting your ass handed to you they need to be in close proximity. This does not just mean on the same planet (unless they have a technique that allows them to travel great distances in a short amount of time ie: IT), this means coming to meet you, hiding behind a bush ready to ambush the opponent, something to that affect.
3) You do not determine the out come. I can not stress this enough. I know most of the members don?t do this but I would like to discourage any new comers of this rule. Since the outcome could lead to a death of a PC we simply do not trust our members with this type of responsibility. The two fighters determine beforehand how many posts the fight will be, once that limit is reached by both we will look it over and determine who comes out victorious. It may take us some time as it is determining the death of a character.
4) The winner of the fight does have his pick of anything the loser owns, but we will not allow you to take that for granted. If you win a fight and choose to take the losers zeni you may take up to as much as 1500. If, however you decide to take an item, you may take one and only one item from them. This can be anything from a Dragon ball radar, to a dragon ball, it is up to you. We ask that both members agree on something they want from the other before the fight begins, and once the winner is decided he will receive his prize.
5) Remember, RPing helps you out as well in a fight. If you show great effort in your Roleplays, no matter how much of a disadvantage you are at, you will still have a shot. Maybe you won?t win the fight, but you might come out badly injured, you might come out with only minor injuries, or only scratches. It is all about how well you Roleplay the fight. Just making a extensive RP on how you try to escape might allow you to escape. Remember, you?re never out of a fight no matter how the odds may seem.
Mental Stats: Your mental stats will prove to be a great asset in any spar or fight, although more so in a spar. With a high enough intelligence you might be able to outsmart your opponent, see through his attacks. With Luck you might just be lucky enough to dodge a crucial attack, or find a safe place to hide. And with determination you may be able to out fight your opponent. More about these stats are in the stats portion of the rules.
Miscellaneous: This goes for sagas, tournaments, and Spars\Fights. Please do not god mode. No matter how strong you are against someone else they will eventually get in a luck shot and hit you in the face. Now I am not saying if you have SSJ and you are fighting someone that just joined that they will hurt you. No, that?s not it, but you will still be hit at least a few times in a fight. This goes for everything, but usually in a saga you are not fighting another PC, but we will still be watching for this, so make sure you don?t
Warnings: Minor
If you receive more than two warnings, the third will count a major warning. Avoiding warnings isn?t that hard. All you need to do is keep a level head and think before you post something.
- Post in the proper forum: One of the first things you might notice is that there are a lot of different boards, don't worry they are easy to get used to. These boards are separated into three sections, only two of which you'll really be using as a normal member There is the OOC Forums(Out of Character) IC forums (In Character), and Administration Forums. Each separate forum is accompanied by a description, just read that and think if your post belongs. If so, you should be fine. A thing that's frowned upon is posting in the IC section with anything other than a Role Play. If there is something you want to say it should be put at the end of a decent sized role play post, no one line role-plays just to post something OOC.
-Spam is bad: Exactly what is considered spam is covered elsewhere. The asylum can handle a little bit of spam, but anywhere else it is a warning. The most common board that shouldn't be and yet is spammed is the Q/S/A board. It is for asking and answering questions, not conversation.
-Reviving old threads or reposting a closed topic: Threads are locked for a reason, and dead for a reason. If someone has not posted for several days in a thread, its best just to leave it be, if its an old thread you want or need to comment on, create a new thread, that is if it wasn't locked. Posting a topic the same or similar to a locked topic will get you warned. The thread was locked for a reason, and it needs to stay that way.
-Metagaming: Metagaming is using OOC knowledge in a role play. For example, say Stan McNormal has his character Captain Chicken conserve his energy because his enemy can transform later, yet Captain Chicken never really met his enemy. Or, say Stan gets angry at Betty-Sue, so he has his character try to kill Betty-Sue's for no other reason. Keep OOC fighting out of your roleplays, and preferably off the boards, even if someone is being a jerk. Speaking of jerks...
-Do not be rude or disrespectful towards other members: We want this RPG to be as friendly a community as possible. If someone annoys you don't make a post insulting him and dropping the 'F' bomb every which way. It proves nothing, except your extensive vocabulary. Depending on the extremity this could go anywhere from minor to major warnings, and a ban if it persists. If something needs to be said TAKE IT OFF THE BOARDS. If someone is pestering you through PMs tell staff and they will deal with it. Another thing to watch out for is constantly dogging after someone and saying something scathing every time they post, regardless of the content.
-Not listening to staff: if staff tells you to stop doing something and you continue you WILL get warned.
-Anything else: It?s impossible to plan for everything, but if you do something bad it will be punished regardless if it?s on this list or not.
Training/Alliances/Mentals/Zeni
The System: Here at Chubbs we are a bit of a unique brand. We have many advanced things that not only help out our members but also our staff as well. In the old days staff was cranky, and had to update training by hand every weekend. Granted they had split the roster up, but think about all the members we have. Even if you cut that in half there is still a good amount of updating you need to do just for your half. Now we have a Training Program, created by our very on Owner VJ. This system is easy to use, and user friendly. Each and every Sunday one of us goes to a special site, puts in a password and clicks submit. With that, points are automatically distributed to each and every one of us. When you join, you will be given a ?Roster Page?. All this means is that we have added you into our system. We set your starting password out at qwerty. Once you log in for the first time we urge you to change it. Since everyone?s password is set to that to start with some users might try and go into your page. If we do catch this and we can, they will be punished, but those incidents are few and far between. When you enter here you will notice some of the font is blue, that means you can?t change what is in there, but a staff member can, by once again going to our special site. Others are white text. These you can change. You can update your all of your contact information.
Training Guild: Training in and of its self is not that hard to do. You go into the program, and scroll down past all your information and go to the stat points. Here you will see all the different stats, (strength, defence?so on and so forth). There are nine in total. The last three, which are your mental stats do not change your ki what so ever, but might give you an edge in battle, and also allow you to get some nifty little bonuses. As for the physical stats, they are all connected. Strength is to attack power, Defence is to Recovery, and Speed is to Stamina. Sure, you can train your strength and defence all the way up, but your ki might not rise as much. When you get there you want to click the (+) button to add points to a certain stat and the (-) if you want to take some of the stats you added to that one this week away. Once you click submit, you cannot change your stats, so make sure you have it the way you want before clicking that button.
Alliances: With this new type of training system we also have the ability to update alliances right from the training section. There are a few simple rules we do ask you to follow when making an alliance however.
1) Please make sure that you have met the people that you want to be in the alliance with IC. It is kind of pointless to make an alliance IC with characters you have never met.
2) Make sure there are at least 3 people in your alliance before you create it in the training program. We have had problems in the past where people have created an alliance that was just them, and then they leave the RPG. Well now we are stuck with the alliance on the alliance page. It is very difficult for us to remove those so make sure you are all planning on staying around when you make it.
3) If you have proven that your alliance will stay around you can then ask in the Q/S/A board for an alliance board. Please wait a few weeks before asking so we can make sure you guys are the real deal.
Once you are in an alliance there are numerous things you can do. If you created the alliance you have the power to invite people. This is the only way you can get in one if you did not create one. The founder must invite you, and once he does you can either accept or decline. Once you are in one, you also have the choice to leave. This is handy if you don?t like the way things are going, or want to jump ship before your comrades decide it is a good idea to go up against a rather strong alliance. Also, if you are a member you can decide whether or not you want to back the leader. He/she will never know of your choice, but it is always there, if the majority decides out with the old in with the new there is a coup. There is also the option to store your money in an alliance pool But as of now you can?t as the script is not working correctly, and once you put it in for some reason you can?t get it out. As a member of the alliance there is one more thing that you get the chance to do. You can squire someone weaker then you. By that I mean giving them a few of your training points every week. Be careful though, because they are taken out automatically and given, so be sure to change this when you want to stop.
As the Founder of the alliance you have special powers. You can promote people, as in give them more power on their training page. You can promote anyone you wish to Captain, which has the power to invite people to the alliance, kick people from the alliance, and also give a nickname to anyone in the alliance. As the founder you also get to set your relationship with other alliances up. Granted you might not be able to do that for a while seeing how you might not meet another alliance for a while, but the option is always there. Finally there is the alliance stash. This is where everything alliance related goes. HQ, Ships, Tele tubes, anything the alliance purchased together, and has intent on using as a whole goes here. If the leader decides to leave the alliance the stash is passed onto the next person in line, and so on and so forth until there is no one left. When that happens the items go away, seeing as you wont need them if you are not in an alliance.
Mentals: Mental stats might not add to your overall ki but they are very useful when it comes to everyday life. As we stated in the Fight section, they will help you out there, but also you can get some neat little door prizes if you will for training them up.
Intelligence ? for every 50 points you train your intelligence you receive one extra move. These moves can be basic DBZ moves, or a custom move. Make sure that the custom moves are not to powerful, and if they are we might ask you to revise it so that it is at normal power. You post your new moves Here.
Luck ? For every 100 points that you train your luck you will receive 50 extra zeni each week. You might be asking yourself, Zeni, why is that so important? Well, it is how you buy things, and the more you have the more stuff you can have, as Sherlock would say, ?Its Elementary my dear Watson.?
Determination ? And last Determination. For every 100 points you add to your determination you gain another training point each week. I do believe this one takes care of itself in explanation. The more Free Training Points you have the stronger you can become.
(Note: the Zeni and Training Point are added automatically over the system, so there is no need to ask for it to be updated.)
Zeni: It is the money. You get automatically 150 to start with each week. For almost everything you do in the RPG RPing wise you gain Zeni. As it said earlier the more luck you have the more zeni you gain. The amount of Zeni you have can be found of the roster, or your training page
Fusion Rules
These are the rules, advantages & disadvantages of Fusion. It will give explanations on the different types of it, & the bonuses given by them.
Fusion Dance
This is the fusion dance. We all know of it due to the characters Gogeta & Gotenks. By performing a set movement, or dance, the two fusioners can merge in to a warrior of great power. Originally, this was restricted due to race, sex, height etc. But this is now allowed to be used though out the all race's, gender's & those of differing visual standards (height, weight etc).
Rules for this method of fusion are:
- Both participants must know Fusion Dance tech.
The advantage's to this fusion method are:
- Both user's can post for the combined person.
- The combined warrior gains a power boost of the fusing warriors' base power, combined & multiplied by 4.
- Techniques. These are combined. The fused warrior has access to both of the fused warrior's attacks. These attacks can also be substituted(sp?) for combined attacks. (e.g. the Final Kamehameha, Big Bang Kamehameha). And techs such as IT (Instant Translocation), & Ki Sense are also carried over.
- Transformations: Despite the race difference, the fused warrior can still transform. If the warrior, as example, is a Namekian & Saiya-jin, he can access a power up equivalent(sp?) that both warrior's have. Meaning if the Saiya-jin Can access SSJ, & the Namekian can access UNS. Then only SSJ & SNS can be preformed. But the second tier power up can't be reached.
Disadvantages of this method are:
- Only lasts for 2 IC post's each.
- Cannot be preformed more then once in an OOC Week, or longer depending on the fusion length.
- The dominant conscious(sp?) goes first.
In the chance that the fusion is done incorrectly, which will be decided by staff. The method for going about this is by posting on the Q/S/U Board & asking the staff. The method done for this will be decided randomly. Weather by flipping a coin, rolling a dice, etc etc. But the chances of failing are slim; so don't let that stop you!
The following will happen in an unsuccessful fusion:
- Fuse in to a Fat form. This will result in the power's only be adding together, & no transformation's.
- Fuse in to an Old form. This result's in a drastic drop in power. It is the dominant's power & halved!
Potarra Fusion
NOTE: This fusion is a lot harder to do, so be warned.
This fusion is the one a lot of people know more commonly. An example of this Fusion is Vegetto. This is a lot more scarcely(sp?) used then the Dance version of fusion. And I mean this! In the history of Chubbs, only two people have ever used these Earrings!! That person is the one & only, Reijin. At the time of fusion how ever, he was once Maria Trunks, & fused with Chibi Trunks.
Rules:
- At least one participant must have a set of Potarra Earrings.
- Failing above rule, both participants need at least one earring.
Advantages:
- As with the Dance, the warrior gain's all the abilities of both warrior's.
- Power level is base of both warriors combined, & multiplied by 10.
- Transformation's still suffer.
- If combined race, dominant personality will determine method of advancing in power-ups.
Disadvantage:
- The combined warrior's will not split.
- The new warrior is treated as a full PC(Playable Character)
- This new warrior is use able by either of the two participants at the cost of their own character. (This is best used if an older member wishes to leave & such)
Now for the final fusion..
Namekian Fusion
Now although this is even less used then Potarra, it is still a fusion.
Rules:
- Both must be of Namekian race.
Advantage:
- The combined warrior is treated like a Potarra warrior. Becoming whole & the dominant persona owning the combined character.
- Power boost is both warriors' base PL combined & doubled.
- If one warrior has UNS & the other doesn?t, the choice is determined by the dominant fusion. Meaning if a warrior with out UNS fuses with some one with it, they will not gain the boost or have access to it. Thou they know of it.
- Both abilities can be used.
- Can divide again! That's right. This form of fusion allows the warrior's to split once again. This is ideal if a player wishes to step down for a while, & both players agree that once the other has returned they can have their character back. If this is neglected, then staff will be forced to take action.
Disadvantage:
- Can split at any time
Rules for posting in the Questions/Suggestions/Updates board:
1. Questions:
-Many people have questions when they first join Chubbs, some people still do after being here for months, so don't feel bad if you have alot.
-In the Questions/Suggestions/Updates(Q/S/A) board, you are free to ask these questions. The first things that you should do before asking a question: (a) Ask yourself; Is this question about the site and/or board? (b) Make sure that this question isn't answered on the following pages that are located on the home page of the site: Background; Special Places; Special People; Techniques; Shop; Dragonballs. Make sure to familiarize yourself with these pages, many questions can be answered by just looking at these. The rest of this rules page can also help you with many problems and/or questions as well.
-If somebody has asked a question in the Q/S/A board and you feel as though you can correctly answer them, then, please, do so.
-Unless, of course, the answer has already been said, we do not like it when people answer the same question over and over. So, please, do NOT answer a question if it has already been clearly answered.. Along with this rule, if the question has been answered, there is no more need to post in that thread again, unless, you have a follow up question to do with the matter.
-I must stress this even more, it is a big problem here. It is good that you guys want to help out, but being answered once is enough, okay? So, do NOT answer the same question if t has already been answered, this cannot be stressed enough, please, do not do this, thank you.
-A big issue in this forum is spamming, so, if you disagree with what a fellow member has said in that thread or want to say something to them, please keep it to the PM system, we do not want people starting arguments in this forum.
2. Suggestions:
-We here at Chubbs realize that this place isn't exactly as good as it could be, it is excellent, but there are always things that we can improve on. So, if you have a idea that you think is good, go ahead and post it in here.
-With a idea of yours, though, always try to think it through. make sure that you think it is good, makes sure that you explain it thoroughly so that the we can get what you are talking about.
-When responding to what a person has suggested, make sure that it is useful, such as pointing out something that has can be improved and show them how to improve it, just don't say something like "That's a stupid idea, I don't like it," we don't need to here that.
-
If it has been said that we will take it into consideration, then there shouldn't be any other discussion upon the matter.
3. Updates:
-Sometimes, we here can forget to update something for you, it happens every now and then, so we will try to improve this. When you need something to be updated, then this is the place to remind us, but there are some guidelines to follow.
-If you have completed a spar, quest, fight, or training for a technique and it has not been updated within 48 hours, then, it could be a idea to post this.
-Another thing to ask for an update on would be if you want your best moves to be added to the Techniques Vault board. Or, if you want to add another move, but this can simply be done by posting the move and it's description in this thread, don't worry if your moves aren't added immediately to the Techniques Vault board immediately, sometimes things pile up on us.
-Sometimes even the updates are forgotten, so we have a little thing called "bumping." You simply post in your thread with something along the lines of "bump," unless one of us has said that we will get to it soon.
-You can bump with most things that aren't updated, this is usually if it has been longer than 48 hours. You do not update the "Adding Moves" thread, which I linked you to earlier, as it is stickied and cannot be lost in other pages. Also, when you are posting your three best moves, it would be a good idea to do it after 72, sometimes even 96 hours after you posted it, since it is not a necessity for you to be able to use your moves and remember, if one of us say we will do it later or that we will get to it, we will, so don't worry.
4. Spamming:
-We hate this here, tasteful or tasteless, it is just horrible. Only post if you need to.
-More on this in the spam section of the rules.
