The hell fighter shuffled up the last few rocks that were blocking his way. ?Right this way,? said the humanoid, staring blankly at his last noticeable obstacle. Placing a hand before his face, the robot?s palm began to glow furiously and his arm pulsated as the blast shot forth, immediately hitting the rock, disintegrating it within moments. Now that his eyesight was clear, Seventeen could see where his senses had led him. ?What the hell. . .?? said the android, overcome by bewilderment. There was the top of the mountain, the one he had traveled for some time to reach, the one which this mysterious feeling told him to go, yet nothing?nobody?was here.

Where the hell is it? The synthetic human walked around the platform a bit, inspecting it. Where are they. . .? Though Seventeen did not know the ?they,? he still expected them to be prompt. ?Where are you?!? screamed the robot, feeling that whatever, or whoever, it was was right there, where he stood. His head looked around, trying to see if his senses merely left him here to find just where what was. A boy who was looking at the humanoid stood in the air not too far away, his aura blazing behind his course body. The humanoid was angered that after all that had happened he was just to be left with this child. The robot?s eyes narrowed as he stood straight, waiting for the young adult to arrive.

Goten, after hearing the loud questionnaire, slowed his pace a bit, but he continued forward, feeling the need to be near someone in this hectic game. Once he came within approximately fifty feet, the youth slowed his rate once more and allowed his aura to dissipate. The hybrid was now merely floating downwards, trying to inspect the humanoid on his way down, but no useful knowledge came to him the he was unbeknownst about. ?I. . .? Seventeen started, beginning to feel a heat overcome him, ?I guess you aren?t ?it.?? The machine?s eyes darted as his face flushed with colour.

?No?? said the saiyan, landing on the ground and rasing an eyebrow as well as curling his upper lip to the left. The two simply stood there, feeling the awkward silence that the android had brought upon them. ?Thanks,? said Goten, looking upward with his head still bowed and hands uncomfortably at his sides.

?For what?? asked Seventeen leaning his face forwards to one side.

?For stopping me,? started the saiya-jin, ?back at the hospital. I don?t know what had come over me.? His head was now longer bowed as he continued, ?Thank you,? he said with a light smile.

?No. . .problem, ? said the root.

?Do you know where we are?? asked Goten, leaning his head to take a peak at the piece of paper sticking out of the android?s back pocket. Once Seventeen noticed the teenager taking a gander at his map, he saw the saiyan hybrid immediately withdraw his head and his eyes closed alongside his stretched teeth and barred teeth.

After raising an eyebrow, the humanoid laughed slightly, the first time he could remember since being with Selipa, the first real time, at least. ?I have a map; I?ll check it right now.? The root hands shuffled through his pocket, searching for the bottom of the map to make sure he did not tear it as he pulled it out. ?Uhh. . .? The cybernetic eyes scanned the two-dimensional plane of the map. Once the cross-hairs of his eyes locked onto their location, memories of his first few challenges in this meteor surfaced. They were at the Kala Mountains, where the android originally trailed off. His mind began to wonder shy he had not simply exploded the rock that blocked his path into the entrance until the youth spoke up.

?So, do you know here we are?? asked Goten, growing bored of the silence.

?Umm, I think we are at the Kala Mountains. . .?

OOC: Not as long as I would hope, but I suddenly felt like writing and I've got to get ready to leave soon, so that's why it's a bit rushed. Hope I RPed Goten alirght.

EVENT

They had been flying over the snow coloured mountains for awhile now. Nothing particularly interesting had been seen, until finally a small cabin was visible. Without any words spoken, the duo began to descend lower towards it.

"Anybody home?" The android asked politely, stepping up onto the porch, towards the door. Nobody answered. He expected this, since it was a house in the middle of nowhere. Goten and Hellfighter shared a glance, and nodded without anymore words. The android then kicked the door wide open.

Blood. Everywhere.

"Well this is new," Goten said sarcastically.

"Hey, check this out," Hellfighter told his partner.

A note.

Quote:To the players of my game,

You did well to find me here. You're fortunate that you arrived after I took care of the old couple who lived up here. Unfortunetly, I had to leave to take care of some business.

Still want to find me? Well, I can't tell you that. But I can tell you this. The people under the mountains have left. There are still some down there. I bet they can help you out. Go to the caves.

"Hey, check this out," Turning to his new acquaintance, the hybrid read through the small note he held.

Brim

"Old couple? Brim's quiet the swinger." He crossed the room, footprints painted in the blood of another staining the ground where he stepped. There was evidence of resistance that might have ensued the producer's arrival though it was considerably hard to recognize at first glace... a chip in the floorboards, a slight tear at the corner of a low wooden table, all of it looking as though the pair's deaths had been quick and easy. It didn't seem right. "Why would he worry about a two old senior citizens?"

The absence of a motive was very appalling in a sense that it was needless slaughter, yet what increased the list on the questionnaire was the all around idea of a place like this being here.

"No clue." Replied the android.

"Hm." Goten struck out, venturing into the other rooms available. It seemed that the cabin had been made up of four separate rooms at the time of occupancy. A bedroom in the far right corner that led into the front room through a single door which, for reasons unknown, lacked the door itself. The kitchen resided to the far left with a single hallway running down the center of the house itself that touched every room in one way or another. Finally in the rear resided a restroom that took up space in the back enough to hold the basic essentials of any modern day facilities... along with frozen water pipes.

As fashion dictates, dead people don't need food, and so Goten took the heavy task of divvying out the stock in the kitchen among both him and himself. Wide with a redwood deck, the bit of sun filtered through glass windows to fill the room with a gentle glow as the light bounded off the crystallized water outside. Splendor wasn't edible, so with a turn and a swing of his hands, the teenager uncovered the pantry's delectable only to find one of the couple hung from the ceiling of the small room. It wasn't like the boy hadn't seen anything dead before so it wasn't really that much of a problem to unhook the man.

"You don't belong here," The Saiya-jin muttered to the corpse as he sliced the noose around its neck, lifting the body out to toss it over into the front room which the blood pooled. "My..." he glanced into the shelves and read a label. "Raw... Oysters? Meh..."

Without a moment's hesitation the halfling had begun tossing the useless and devouring the delicious, which mostly pertained to canned fruit and various sorts of Spam. Throughout the mix he had tossed a can over his shoulder high enough to hit something upon the stove across the way, causing the heated substance inside to spill onto the ground. Rushing across the ground to lap against the heel of his boot which was enough to divert the boy's attention from his feast to the steaming water on the ground...

The Saiya-jin's eyes scanned the small streams of warm air lifting off the ground slowly into the air with an unbroken concentration... a surface that could raise the temperature of liquid, but what comes up must come down. Whatever had been warm had to have a low point which the cold would envelope it. Plus it would take time to do that.

Goten moved back from his dinning and into the front room with a little kick in his step, examining the blood upon the floor a moment before kneeling down with two fingers pressed into it... slight bit of warmth. Couldn't have left the body more then an hour or so ago. Without looking up, the hybrid called out to the android of the house.

"Can you catch how long ago those mountain people left?" He inquired.

"Why?" Somewhere in the cabin came Hellfighter's voice.

"He said he took care of the couple here, plus he knew those people living in the mountains left, blood's still warm so we might be closer then we think to him... savvy?" Silence, guessing the android to be contemplating this. "Anyway, we're on the mountain, maybe we can see those villagers from here."

Not all felt right though. Why would Brim personally suggest heading down into the depths of the mountain? Especially after they all had left for some reason? It didn't add up right for one reason or another. Either way they had somewhat of a lead as to where the producer had gone, which meant it was all the closer to ending this game...

END OF ROUND

Goten could feel something wrong, even as the duo set foot on the top of one of the many mountainous peaks. It was just too easy to know where to go. Too obvious.

Unfortunetly, saiyans arn't often wrong.

In a fair fight, the two could have easily won, but the speed of Kao's sudden ambush took both off guard. "Time to die!" He screamed, landing a fist in Hellfighter's gut. Goten ducked a swing of the very sharp looking axe, but then took the point right in his teenage stomach. "Sorry," He heard Kao whisper, "But you'll ruin everything."

"Ugh..." Goten groaned, falling to one knee, grabbing at the bloody wound.

"No!" Hellfighter was up in a second, swinging for a fierce roundhouse kick to the young green enemy. Kao ducked, spinning as well, and then slammed the point of the axe into the android's neck. It sparked, swinging him to the side.

Goten looked up, and then that was it. Kao's coward-like acts put them down.
