Day Eighteen had begun. Memory Village was nothing more than a silent peaceful village resting in the grassy fields in which it was erected. However this was all about to change as the men of Cell Junior?s Company and the normal citizens of Memory Village were unaware of what lurked on the outskirts of their humble village?
~*~*~*~
Mr. Cell Junior was receiving his first good rest as he slept peacefully in his humble abode, which was quite the upgrade compared to the half assed excuse for a bed he was sleeping on in Hyperton Fortress.
Unfortunately, CJ?s peaceful rest would come to a screeching halt when commotion around his tent picked up. Cell Jr. awoke slowly from the uproar outside but ignored it. He spent the next few minutes rolling around in his bed trying to fall back asleep shrugging off the commotion outside as just late night tavern ruckus. It wasn?t until a lookout man from the Village Gate came barging into his Commander?s tent that CJ realized that this was no ordinary tavern party.
?What,? the groggy General barked as he was approached by the humanoid villager dressed in yellow-clad battle gear. The youthful human made his point loud and clear for his Commander, ?Sir we require your presence at the front gate this instance, we believe we have company.?
?What?? snapped the non-transformer as he grabbed for his Ki-Sword and made haste behind the creature that awoke him in his sleep to the front gate of Memory Village. The wooden gate, which was capped off with sharp points, was starting to close as it had opened to allow those Outcasts who were outside to get within the walls before being locked out. Many of the people running in were somewhat okay with what was going on as most were still somewhat uninformed of what is going on. One person in particular, Toma to be exact, came rushing inside the gates panicking much like a schoolgirl slandered by gossip shouting that the end is near and whatnot.
While Toma ran about panicking, another boy dressed similar to the man who awoke him stood on a makeshift platform jousting inward from the wall as he looked down at CJ. ?Sir, one man approaches, he appears unarmed, dressed in blue clothing.?
By the time the gates had fully closed, word had spread throughout the village that something was stirring in the night and most of the villagers were awake and crowding near their tiny blue leader, most stared at the creature with a blank look as if waiting for something from their Commander. ?What?? said the winged creature as he looked around at the faces staring at him, his attention became drawn back to the scout atop the platform; ?Sir your order?? CJ sighed in frustration, he was no good leader, especially considering he had never led before. The inexperienced Leader had no idea that he had to give an order for practically every action for his troops, he felt like a puppeteer and he didn?t like it one bit.
Cell Junior spoke in confidence assuming great leaders must be confident at all times, ?Oh, don?t fire, let him come in peacefully. One man surely is nothing to worry about.? CJ started to chuckle, ?All this ruckus for one man, for all we know he can be an AWOL Soldier.? Unfortunately, in a few moments, Cell Jr. will discover this isn?t the case and would have hopped so to save himself some grief.
The Dante Messenger approached the gates holding upward a white parchment rolled up and topped off with a piece of string as if it was a white surrendering flag. Slowly the gate crept open as the Messenger baby footed into the inwards of the village stopping at the large crowd, which had encircled the gate opening. The messenger spoke quickly and shortly making his point clear, ?Message for your leader.?
?Come with me,? the winged creature said as he turned heading back deeper into the village signaling for the messenger to follow him. Dante Messenger paced onward following the little blue man in front of him still holding the parchment high in the air as he kept his focus on the leader of the village ignoring all the looks he was receiving from the group of Outcasts. Commander CJ?s tent was the destination as it was made clear when the winged creature entered the tent followed by the messenger, and Toma.
The freckled leader sat down at a makeshift writing table as he held out his hand behind his head with an open palm signaling for the parchment that the messenger was carrying. Toma stood at the tent exit watching over the messenger who stood between CJ and himself making sure nothing tricky was pulled by the messenger. After getting his hands on the note, Cell Jr. unrolled it and read it over, his facial features signaling the bad news, luckily no one could see his facial expression as he started to write down a reply.
Quote:Commander Broccoli,
I will not be surrendering to you. Our fight will happen soon enough, but not here, not now. A village is no place for our battle, we will have our battle soon enough, and I can assure you we will not be surrendering at this future date either.
Oh by the way, it?s ?Mr. Cell Junior? to you.
Commander ?Mr. Cell Junior.?
Ending the reply CJ rolled it back up and gave it to the Messenger. ?Hurry back and give that to your leader, you?re free to go.? With that the three emerged from the tent and Cell Junior signaled for the Messenger to be let go to head back to wherever he came from.
The population of Memory Village gathered around their leader?s tent for a quick briefing and Cell Junior climbed up on a few boxes to address his fellow soldiers. ?Men, it appears we will be getting what we wanted since Day 1,? CJ stopped for a brief second and than shouted, ?A FIGHT!? The group went into an uproar as they started their war cries. The winged creature shouted on to keep their attention, ?Unfortunately, the fight will not be taking place tonight, for a village is no place for a fight, it?d be unfair to the citizens here to force them to arms and fight. We will be relocating but I can assure you the fight will happen. It?ll start whenever the opposing army decides to come for us, but for now we move on. Get what you need and make haste we will be traveling slightly.? The crowd dispersed as most ran about getting what they needed and reporting back to their little blue leader.
~*~*~*~
The time came and Cell Junior?s Company was ready to march on. As the group left the village, CJ thanked the villagers for their hospitality and wished for their future health to be a good one as the opposing army came in.
OOC: CJ is pussy footing away. ( Damn Dante )

?Hmph!? came the general response of distance from the Saiya-Jin Commander?s lips. He crumpled the note, casting it to one side as he looked to the village before him. The Outcast unit was marching out from the opposite side, retreating to fight another day. ?So they?ll sacrifice their village in order to meet us elsewhere.? The Dante army stood at full attention, ready and waiting for their Commander?s orders. The Outcast unit under Cell Jr. was, unfortunately, out of sniper range. Otherwise, Broli would have ordered for his soldiers to kill as many Outcast as they could while the warriors fled. Even so, while Cell Jr., or rather, Mr. Cell Jr. had refused to surrender, taking Memory Village had just become one step easier. As the Outcast unit began to disappear into the distance, Broli nodded to his soldiers. ?Prepare entry to the village,? he declared, scratching his chin as he wondered the thought process of his opponent. The village was officially abandoned save its villagers, and it possessed no defense against any oncoming forces.
?Darli!? Broli shouted, a messenger immediately running to his side. ?Send before us this message to Memory Village.?
Quote:Inhabitants of Memory Village
As you can see, we, the forces of Dante, have arrived at your town. I emphasize that you are no enemy of ours. Rather, we seek to battle the army of Outcast. Unfortunately, it seems that they have abandoned you. I do not know what would inspire a Commander to abandon his own people, but I assure you, I sympathize with you. We will not attack you, as it is simply not fair to bring a battle to your front when your only crime has been submitting to a ruler that obviously holds no care for you. Allow me to replace Outcast as your protector, as someone who will not abandon you when opponents threaten your safety. I will treat you far greater than Outcast ever will, and I will never turn my back on you as they just did. I march on to our village now with hopes to enter it peacefully.
Sincerely,
Broli, Commander of the Dante Forces
Broli stamped his seal of authority, handing the note over to the messenger who immediately bowed and hustled off towards the town. King Vegeta stood at the Commander?s side, wondering as to what was going to occur next. ?Where do you think Outcast is headed??
Broli shook his head. ?Somewhere safer. They know that they can?t match up to us in an area like this. They?ll go to a fortress, or a castle, wherever they think that they can defend against us. However, their move of defense has cost them an additional village. Come, let?s claim it.? With a nod of acceptance from the Co-Commander, Broli held up a hand to his troops behind him. With a forward motion towards the town, the battalion began its trek towards the village.
Outcast had fled the village, and Dante would be there to claim it.

Catalyst: A reinvigorated prowess that had been tucked away within the carefully secluded hierarchs of his competence, and released within a roar of bestiary instinct.
With his crown elevated in a newborn glory he stood, his arms folded before his chest and his gaze set across Dante?s plains. The battle for that tower?Aztec or something or another, Cold didn?t have the time to recall? It had definitely been quite the shove that they needed. Now, they were knee deep in the recesses of the enemy territory. And the shove that they?d received, had set forth under the philosophy that energy isn?t destroyed, just transferred. From the outskirts of Outcast homeland they came upon a village, and within the village were the exiled. A smile had decorated lord Colda?s smug visage as they took their leave, leaving a village to fend for themselves.
It would have seemed kosher to apply Dante?s superiority to the term infamous, though Cold knew better than any other they were far from a widespread renown. In fact he felt as though they were setting themselves up for a common ruin, in the lower recesses of conscious thought.
?So what do you say before you die changeling?? A hoarse voice had whispered into his ear, the threat of corroded steel pressed up against his throat. A syntech assassin had paraded up the tower and chosen him as its bull?s eye.
?That I won?t.? Cold sniggered in immoral delight, a tunneling wave of violet entity bursting forth from his underhandedly directed palm. With his roar of failure still ringing in the changeling?s ear he was reduced to a blood-spattered and ruined glorification. Cold breathed heavy, his life having just left the hands of a man who harbored ill wishes against it. There was a tension in the air that he didn?t have the nerve to describe, although the only words that came to mind were survival and unfit.
It was in the heart of a battle four days prior that he realized he was unfit for this war. It was four days prior that he decided there were truly no other options but to survive. It was also four days prior that he changed. Not the shedding of a cocoon either, mind you.
An assassin had fallen, pressed backwards under the raping pressure of the estranged changeling, breaking him through the barricade that kept the night watch from slipping to an unneeded accident. And Cold peered over the ledge, his resolution to revolution evident, yet he remained over the rest. A skeptical smirk had joined his features. Its intentions were masked and his eyes had yet to betray his thoughts. His prominence as king had shaken him with an unexpected arrival. Bitter, was its entry.
With his eyes never losing sight of the village that lie before them, Cold questioned his commander. The one they looked to with admiration for his decisive pursuit. The one they called Burori. ?Commander, do you think they?ll join as willingly as the rest?? Mere curiosity never killed the cat, just the pursuit.

Akane walked on the grass outside of the densely populated village; her face expressionless despite the obvious thoughts that were racing inside of her head. Thoughts of the battles that lay ahead; of the ways that she would have to fight the enemy menace. Searching the crowds of people for someone she knew the girl noticed the physical entities of her comrades, although she never paused for one moment to consider who they were; the identies of the beings automatically being shot into her head, such was the inner turmoil of her thoughts. Searching the ground beneath her feet the girl suddenly heard the barking of a individual, of her puppy that she had taken with her from the fishing village.
Turning around quickly she caught the body of the puppy directly in her chest, being propelled off of her feet and on to the ground, the puppy licking her face. Knocked on her back she laughed as the puppy licked her in the face, not knowing; or caring, what the commotion from the little girl was about. Smiling she preceded to pet the warm animal, giggling with more intense motions as the puppy got off of her body. Crouching on to her knees she proceeded to play with the small animal, rushing all around on her knees, chasing it as the puppy tried to nip at her; caught in the playful moment. Dashing into her chest once more the puppy was caught by the girl, flipped on to its back, and its tummy was rubbed.
Smiling she let the puppy go on the ground, letting it run loose on the soil, as she had work to do. She would present herself to her superior officer, trusting the puppy to wait in her resting area; until the day was over for the very playful Akane Kimidori.
