I would love to, but I seriously doubt I'll ever have the money to afford a drive or flight (plus off time to do the driving or flight) to the complete opposite corner of the country

Yeah, as many people live over here in the South East (or the East coast period, counting our VA and NJ people and stuff) its almost easier to get another one going here, haha. I mean shit, two members at least live in SC, with me barely living over the river now.

I'd seriously go, but explaining to my folks that I'm traveling to Portland to meet a bunch of strangers doesn't seem like it will fly. =( Oh well, perhaps when I'm eighteen? =)
