Um, if this isn't a joke.. why RP until april if the stats are getting wiped? There won't be any real point (aside from character development, but why waste writing material for no statistical gain when you can wait and get IC and stat gain at the same time after the reset?).

The worst part is, I recruited two of my friends here and this shit happens right as one's about to apply and the other was just getting into his character.

Exactly our point.

On the other hand, I hate the fact that we're all going to lose our characters.

This appears to be our biggest concern. We'll take this into consideration during the development of this and work a way for those who do not wish to switch to remain as their characters but they will still be affected by the stats wipe.

As for the power gap, don't you think there may be a better way to create a dynamic system that helps people catch up to super powers than to just wipe clean the entire slate?

Yep. We've wiped stats, raised starting stats, raised the stats of those low on the ki list, etc. We need to start at 0 with a system that is designed to last years, as the current Zento system was not. They never planned to run more than a year or two... and here we are way beyond that point.

By the way, would the new system be like the VS system?
