I hope not too many people jump on the custom bandwagon. I mean, shit, I probably will after a while, but it seems silly to do it just for the sake of omg custom. Then again, I guess not everyone's happy with their current characters. But I know not everyone's that bored.

I doubt they would be forcibly wiped, since people can just reform them. >_> Like, I know both me and 17 are staying canon, so we'll be keeping CU alive hopefully. It might be that entirely new alliances are formed, or maybe people will just stay in their current alliances but with their new characters.

Like I said, you can't force people to separate.

You're right, but Tom and I were throwing idea's around for after the reset, we got on the subject of alliances and he mentioned that he thought that they were getting wiped, I didnt think they were, but it was more for my own clarification =P

We won't force them to be. Like, you and Bulma could take over XTC. xD There would not be much of a reason for Rei and I to be in XTC when we hadn't roleplayed yet.

Yeah, they will be wiped. But you're more than welcome to reform them with the same people and the same name... Just some IC relations will change and so you might have to work that out.

I think keeping 2-3 techniques is a good number.

On one hand, you could say that techniques are all work people have done and are completely separate from stats, which are mainly just join date stuff, and so they should keep them all. But on the other hand, there's the whole 'technique inflation' thing, where they used to be handed out like candy (especially in sagas). So y'gotta reach a compromise.

That's being considered. We might also make a maximum XP deficit, which effectively puts a limit too how much awesomeness you can get (like, several lower-lievel -kineses, or jsut teleportation - that kinda thing).

The problem with the current system is that power level does not reflect writing. The staff have even stated that powerlevel now is a measure of how long you've been here, not how much writing you put out.

Just to underscore these points: nothing is concrete. The system is still being tweaked. Make no assumptions and don't jump to conclusions.
