Nirvana - Seventeen
#1
Took the time to update both my vaults to catch 'em up, and here's the second one, for my vessel, the Nirvana. Could someone please update this? If so, thank you very much.

-::[ Nirvana ]::-

History: During the failed invasion of Earth by the space pirates known as the Red Stallions, one of their vessels was cut off from the rest of the fleet. The Nirvana was pacified by Earth's space forces while the rest of the armada, including their flagship Excalibur, was destroyed completely. Although most of the parts it used to have were scraped to pay for the war effort, the ship itself was handed over by the Earth's government to Seventeen and his organization, Civil Unrest, as reparations for their destruction of the invaders.

Exterior Graphic

Internal layout (rough draft): The only important room toward the anterior of the Nirvana is the control bride. It is from that room that the vessel is controlled and operated by ROB64, Aida, and Torec. Between the bridge and the rest of the ship is a massive metal corridor (called the ?neck?). Beneath the bridge, are mounts for several different types of guns (two are currently installed as of now).

The posterior vessel of the ship contains a conglomeration of rooms?some of which serve very important purposes and several that serve relatively no purpose at all. The most important rooms include the medical bay, research laboratory, and docking bay, which are all located on the lowest and second lowest levels of the Nirvana.

The middle portion of the ship contains the assortment of living quarters for the crew and the numerous social quarters (which include a galley, lounge, and an arcade among other random chambers). There is also a large gun anchored near the center of the middle level of the vessel?s bow (this is the ship?s large assault cannon). The only other parts of the ship that are of some importance include the observation deck that spans the uppermost level of the Nirvana, and the auxiliary guns located within the corridors of the vessel?s five wings.

Armaments

~~~~~~~~~~~
2 Light Assault Cannons - The light assault cannon is the backbone of most ship armaments. It fires 50mm rounds at high speeds. Because it uses ballistic projectiles, the cost to the core is very minimal.
Heavy Assault Cannon - Similar to the light assault cannon, the heavier version of this weapon offers significant firepower for little cost to the core. The sheer weight of this weapon, however, slows a ships overall speed.
Shielding/Armor
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ablative Plating - A series of protective plates attached to a ship. These plates, when hit, absorb the impact of a project and deteriorate. As a result the ship itself feels very little physical impact and takes no damage to its original armor. This provides exceptional protection against ballistic weapons, but is not nearly as effective against blaster-type weapons.

Reactive Plating - Upon being struck by an attack, the core of a ship will transfer energy to the point of impact, plus the surrounding area. This energy strengthens the ship?s defense against subsequent attacks quite effectively. This method of defense is incredibly potent against Assault Cannons and any other weapons that rely on a high rate of fire to do damage. The transferred energy also works to absorb the impact of blaster projectiles, making this plating an ideal all-around defense.

Ki Shielding - While this type of shield does not offer much in the way of protection against ship-based weapons, it nullifies attacks from warrior who wield ki as a weapon. This comes in very handy when facing ships with warrior capable of higher-level transformations.

Energy Weave Barrier - As with the ki shielding, this barrier weaves core energy through the plating of a ship, making it immune to the effects of abilities such as Metal Binding.

Stasis Shielding - As it turns out, the technology used to create stasis fields can also be applied to deflect and disperse the energy from various weapons. This upgrade makes use of such amplification to strengthen a ship?s shields. In addition, the stasis technology retains it original function. If you're tired of unwanted guests teleporting onto your ship, then this is the upgrade for you.

Engine Modifications

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cete'el High-Thrust Drive Swap - Deviating from normal procedure, Cete'el Industries has created a set of oversized engines for the medium ship. These engines come complete with all the necessary hardware and electronics for them to run at optimal performance. The result is outstanding speed for the heavy vessel.
Miscellaneous Upgrades
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are no miscellaneous upgrades at the moment installed on the Nirvana.

~~~~~~~~~~
Crew
~~~~~~~~~~

ROB64 - The robot ROB was built at the same time as the ship, with the intention of maintaining it and all smaller ships on-board. He serves as a mediator between the Nirvana and its crew, as he can converse with the ship itself to find out any problems it may have. He has an extensive knowledge of the ship's interior and exterior, and is able to install any upgrades that Civil Unrest may buy. In addition, he can pilot the ship whilst the members are off-board, providing air support when they most need it.
Rank: Mechanic/Ship Liason

Torec - In the hierarchy of the Nirvana, Torec is one of more senior officers due to his status as a member of Civil Unrest. He operates the ship (along with guidance from ROB64) if there are ever no active members of Civil Unrest aboard. Despite his age, he is a competent member of the crew.
Rank: Lieutenant Commander

Elphaba - Although a woman, Elphaba is one of the most feared crewmembers aboard the Nirvana. Fiery, buff, and short-tempered, the position of Chief of Security is one she executes faithfully and stoically. Despite being both one of the youngest persons on the crew of the Nirvana and having strangely orange skin, she is one of the most respected officers onboard.
Rank: Chief of Security

Steve Coachman - A man who has spent the fifty years of his life serving in Earth?s military. He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Air Force and also served as a Drill Sergeant before opting for transference to the crew of the Nirvana. Onboard he serves as the Chief Tactical Officer?a position that sees him maintaining and operating the ship?s offensive (guns) and defensive (shields) equipment. He is lighthearted, energetic and prone to outbursts in his thick, Australian accent?a contrast to the cold, cynical nature of other crew members.
Rank: Chief Tactical Officer

Aida - Aida's attitude is very lively and jovial. She's almost always in high spirits, and when she's down it's usually short-lived. Her mission in life seems to be to please people and make them happy, and for the most part she does so. There are times when morale is down among the crewmembers, but Aida manages to cheer everyone up and get them moving again. Though Aida is not as intelligent as some of the other members of the crew, and could even be labeled as ditzy at times), she feels that her cheerful attitude and her determination more than make up for it.
Rank: Communications Officer

Samantha - Despite being the member of a saiya-jin warrior race, Samantha is in charge of the Nirvana's medical bay. She holds several PhDs in medical sciences, and will be able to cure the most grievous of wounds herself. Wounds or ailments that transcend her capabilities can usually be treated using the assortment of machines located in the medical area?all of these, she can operate flawlessly.
Rank: Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jeff - An old man with wild, unkempt white hair who enjoys delving into science more then he enjoys the light of day. His laboratory is filled with an overabundance of things that normal people would be unable to label, but for as reclusive as he is, he is also extremely warmhearted. It is his genius that continues to produce a multitude of mundane gadgets and devices that maintain the sanity of the crewmembers on long voyages (it was he who built the arcade and the majority of the other electronic devices onboard).
Rank: Chief of Scientific R&D

Aurilani - A ten-year old saiya-jin girl who, until recently, was a servant in Lord Vine's palace. Following the death of her not-so-brother, Iorek, she joined Super Buu in the search for her real family. She is cheerful, enthusiastic and very outgoing. She is also very forgiving?she did not hold Buu's victory over Iorek against him and was even able to forgive Iorek when she discovered that he was the cause of her parent's death. Having been a servant for the great Lord Vine, she knows a lot about domestic chores, and now serves as cook for the Nirvana. In terms of appearance, she is fairly short, with brown hair and eyes. From time to time it becomes apparent that her innocent nature may be a farce, but very few have been able to see past it.
